“Proud” Canadian citizen by all accounts but I’m not here to argue, he’s a prize twat and his legacy is smeared. All I was here to do was explain why Doofus loves him.

I wasn’t a Duran Duran fan as to be SLeB sounded like he was straining on the bog but man Nick Rhodes was everything 80s. In a good way.

Yesterday I was reading a list of “songs where the singer is out of tune” and it was basically my record collection so that’s obviously a thing for me.

I’d a great aunt that would always mutter (Aberdeen accent) “Nit anither waaar film” which, although she died when I was about 9, has remained with us along with many of her other joyous utterances.

Another thing is if I’m in a lift and it speaks and says “Ground floor” I will absolutely have to say “perfumery, stationery and leather goods”.
One for the young folks there.

Coming out of the cinema one of us will always say “it was a bit far-fetched” in tribute to my FiL who would say that about any film not in B&W or about war.
Unfortunately one time we were overheard and I died a little. More careful now (but we still say it).

Yet another cracking 80s #totp which leaves me questioning everything I ever knew. Nolans, Foster & Allan, Killing Joke, Goombay Dance Band, Chas & Dave… but here’s the Associates on the play out! For the win.
