If they don’t want rent control, they need to get rid of R1 zoning and build more housing

It is a screenshot of a Twitter post, which says: Every lifelong Catholic I've ever met is like "I think we're supposed to give this food to poor people" and every adult convert is like "the Archon of Constantinople's epistle on the Pentacostine rites of the eucharist clearly states women shouldn't have driver's licenses."
You missed out on the heyday of diners in Taunton, specifically the Hickey’s Lunch truck. It closed in 1986.

Feel Better!
Good to hear. We have tickets to Thursday with the Q&A after. Hoping Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Jean Yoon, Andrea Bang, & Simu Liu show up as a surprise.
The photo is a mock up of the toilet installed into the International Space Station. The orientation of the toilet seat is not horizontal, but more diagonal to facilitate the user leaning their posterior against the seat.
In case you were curious to know what one looks like, this is the one from the mock up of the International Space Station that was on display at Cape Canaveral during the STS-95 launch in October 1998 when John Glenn went up in the space shuttle. The ISS was launched in the next month.
How many years is shortly?
What? You don’t want to live in Fontucky?
2 minutes of brilliance is all it took.
Me in the Stands of BMO stadium wearing a heavy duty knit hooded poncho with a large pink angel pattern on it with a black background.
Learn to bundle up at BMO
I hate to say it out loud, but those two points contradict to each other at least in this case
Been there, done that, and bought the tote bag.
On top of an old wooden picnic table there is an orange equipment, bag and IP Codec, headphones, a microphone and a Starlink Internet device.
Testing out the gear. #OtherDutiesAsAssigned #OnTheAirEverywhere #NPRLife.
I’m finally getting the joke because I wasn’t actually watching the telecast & somehow I thought the Wallace reference was for the Kieran Culkin character in Scott Pilgrim. Many references here were in all caps and I thought of Anna Kendrick yelling the name. Yes, I’ve seen the Wire, so long ago.
In a word yes.
Too much viagra in the water.
Damn straight. Pass the spoon.
ESPNLosAngeles will likely only have their coverage online since the Lakers vs Timberwolves will be on the radio. Also, 980 La Mera Mera has coverage in Spanish
A View of BMO stadium from the back of the second tier over looking the midfield line of the pitch.
Back in our perch for this season. #ShoulderToShoulder #ExpoParkOriginales #MyDayInLA @lafcmirror.bsky.social
Is 980 La Mera Mera not covering it? I’ve heard their play by play this season at BMO.
My colleagues at the Nipper will be relieved he is still a Good Dog. 14 out of 10. Right @weratedogs.com ?
Also, TIL he’s a huge Tom Lehrer fan, has memorized all of the lyrics, & had met him in real life
That fact gave me joy today.
TIL Daniel Radcliffe’s speaking tempo is almost 2x speed. So, trying to watch his interview on @colbertlateshow.bsky.social, it was almost unintelligible. I had to slow it down.
At work, I’ve learned to listen to audio at double speed. It makes things go, well, twice as fast. It also spills over to my other listening & watching which annoys @DommyGonzalez.bsky.social to no end.
A picture of a colonial house painted yellow with an two oak trees in the front yard. There are five windows on the second floor four on the first with a entrance door in the center on the first floor. There is 3 feet of snow on the ground, which comes up above the windowsills.
What’s odd is I expected an actual separate train that ran on its own set of tracks & not just an extension of another line that they just decided to rename to appease some residents. I hope you all got home safely eventually. Apparently there was more snow than the blizzard of ‘78 which I remember.
Only in the morning when it becomes…..
Having met Mr. Silverblatt on several occasions I’m a bit surprised he was so young. However, it’s extremely sad to see another one of the Ruth Seymour originals fade in to the sunset.
