@detroitfootball.net not sure if anyone else has mentioned this or has run into this issue, but listening to latest ep of Lions Collective pod on Spotify and twice now in 1st 20 mins have ads randomly started playing in the middle of you speaking. Random interruptions it feels like.

Matt Walsh @MattWalshBlog A weird thing is that whenever I post criticism of Al, the majority of the people agreeing with me seem to be leftists. It's pretty much the only position I hold that seems to be more popular with the left than the right. It should be the opposite. My whole point about Al (especially Al in creative fields) is that it isn't human, it doesn't have a soul, and we cannot surrender our society to an unhuman soulless algorithm even if it makes our lives easier in some ways. It's very strange that an argument predicated on the existence of the soul resonates with the left while conservatives tend to scoff at it. 3:02 PM • Mar 12, 2026 • 748.5K Views
"for unknown reasons, my mortal enemies appear to be concerned with the core essence of humanity in a way that my allies are not. oh well, better not think about it too hard."
the artemis ii pics of the moon and perfect splashdown reminded me what actual science looks like – instead of, say, an ai program named clifford that can write christmas cards for me.
What I like best about the Artemis II photos is that it was taken by actual humans. An actual person had to frame it and manually adjust settings. It's their own artistic rendition of what they thought looked best at the time, something no probe, rover or unmanned spacecraft can take. it's art
Yeah, this is where I am. All of our internal controls have failed and we are a rogue state. The world needs to mount a full-on embargo or something and to isolate us in any way it can. We are a pariah nation and we need to be treated like one until Trump is neutralized. bsky.app/profile/park...
Exactly. The OP also mischaracterizes the sentiment, conveniently, as "I hope AI goes away" when it's really "don't use AI and actively stigmatize it to hasten its inevitable demise", which has an action step. And it's working! Ask an A.I. CEO.
I just find exhausting this constant insistence that if someone has a viscerally negative or hardline stance against this technology it must be from a place of ignorance or "putting your head in the sand" and not from, you know, knowing what this shit is and what it does
just a breathtaking self-own here from Ted Cruz
Wild that the top 4 teams in the B1G Tourney don’t play until the fourth round of games.
Definitely would recommend watching THE LONG WALK film from last year, if only because David Jonsson and Cooper Hoffman are both fantastic in it. It's also surprisingly violent and felt...realistic(?) in how sudden and shocking the violence could be.
I love the declaration that his endorsements are insurmountable and that virtually all his endorsed candidates win. Which couldn’t be further from the truth.
Another excellent/detailed article from @twizzity.bsky.social today at Octopus Thrower, breaking down the pros & cons of a #LGRW trade for Canucks star C Elias Pettersson. If you're interested in the Wings' trade deadline options this week, this is a good read. octopusthrower.com/red-wings-pe...
If you're a #LGRW fan and enjoy good writing, may I recommend this article written by my good friend Chad Twaro (@twizzity.bsky.social ) for FanSided's Red Wings site: a good breakdown of this year's Wings team to the previous ones at the same point in the season pre-trade deadline.
Feel like the “around here” modifier isn’t needed.
I guess Operation Epic Fury is better branding than Operation Please Stop Talking About Epstein or Operation Maybe This Will Help Me in the Midterms or Operation We'll Work Out the Details Later.
All very valid points! I appreciate you responding to my query. Really enjoyed your review of Scream 7, so curious to see it myself this weekend.
Just out of curiousity: why does Scream 4 come in last place in your personal rankings?
Scream? Scream.
Don't threaten me with a good time, Mike.
@craigcalcaterra.bsky.social curious what, if any, thoughts you have on the developments today w/r/t the Chicago Bears and moving to Indiana? If I recall correctly you cover the topic of owners/teams/stadiums at the beginning of "Rethinking Fandom" and this reminds of the White Sox/Tampa situation.
Have you seen THE UNBEARABLE WEIGHT OF MASSIVE TALENT with Cage and Pedro Pascal? If not, highly recommend for Cage and Pascal's chemistry.
Really hoping things can be mended between the Lions and David Montgomery. Totally understandable to be upset with a reduction in his usage, but I would think with Drew Petzing coming in as OC that the offense will go back to really leaning on the run game, and Detroit will need DMo for that.
Fuck all the way off, and then fuck off a little further, just keep going and fucking off until you're completely out of fucking off space and then fuck off just a tiny bit further.
Isn't Harry Hole the role Michael Fassbender played in THE SNOWMAN?
I was enjoying the mystery of the film until I remembered the rule Apple has about letting iPhones be used in movies, and that kind of took some wind out of the sails.
Mike Kafka impressed me during the Lions/Giants game. Any thought to him as a possible OC target for the Lions if Campbell does relinquish play-calling?
And I would recommend you check whether the showing you buy tickets for will be presented in HFR or not.
