I really am feeling zard-y running bulk is the optimal play as it really can't outspeed its threats like Garchomp and Aerodactyl. Also investing in more into special attack feels like a waste as most super effective hits OHKO or 2HKO if neutral. So really there is only bulk to invest into

Digged up my old Malmรถ 2018 topping team, because I wanted to check how much bulk I was actually on my Zard-Y. I remembered it was crazy high and I wanna do something like it in Champions.
I guess one option for Rock slide was just bulking up to face tank it :D

Only real complain I have about the monetization is not being able to get all the legal mons ingame like mega Floette requiring Z-A access
Champions is just so good. I think I like playing on it more than on Showdown which is something I haven't been able to say in a while
Rain gaming went well. Both Trick Room and Tailwind modes got utilized and ended the stream with solid 8 game win streak in ranked. Overall happy with the concept I used and will continue to develop this

Over 700,000 people participated in Pokรฉmon Champions' Warm-Up Challenge. This is the highest of any competition, but still behind SV's first ranked season.
It did increase from 610k to 710k in the last five hours so it seems a lot of people jumped on last minute for rewards.
One thing I find interesting is that despite seemingly the ENTIRE INDUSTRY trying to kill VR and make it seem as uncool as possible... VRChat has grown almost every month for almost eight years now and is among the top 25 most played things on Steam.
Niche? Perhaps, but a big & hungry one.
Made a speed tier generator because I like spreadsheets and suck and remembering speed tiers. This lets you generate regulation specific speed tiers, team specific tiers, and more. Champions compatibility coming soon.

Results are in. I did make top 300 and while that is short of the goal of top 100 I am very happy that my extended break from VGC hasn't impacted me too much.
Post-tournament I do kinda wanna look into hail teams as I saw pretty interesting ones during the run.

I am considering making stream VODs unlisted, but also putting them into public playlist. This way they won't flood peoples feeds but they would still be archived and publicly accessible
Ended up not making much headway towards Top 100, but did peak at around 150 till I fell down to around 650. Was some sloppy plays at the middle, but still enjoying myself.
Tomorrows stream will start later and I gotta lock in if I wanna end in Top 100

VGC is so good, I love not having to deal with tera. My hot take is tera was actually the worst gimmick after Z-moves.
Champions is good and I am just having blast playing Pokemon. I will be aiming for Top 100 tomorrow so catch the stream tomorrow.
