A lot of people - and they'll be encouraged by radio and print media - will go "Oh, all those ADHD diagnoses are driving up NDIS costs." And ADHD is a much softer target than autism.

I may be being overly cynical.

My reasoning is this: if two statements are made close together, we naturally make the connection between them, even if not explicitly connected.
i) We're targeting the rapid rise in costs associated with neurological disorders in children;
ii) Rates of ADHD diagnoses are skyrocketing amongst teens

That's a fact that won't matter very much in the discussion, I suspect.

I don't envy the government the challenge of trying to apportion to the myriad social services on which Australians rely the funding left over from military spending, fossil fuel subsidies, and tax breaks for investors.

Gets harder and harder every year.

They can range from very smokey/peaty through to hints of seaweed and saltwater; and on to honey and toasted grains. They can be young and quite harsh; and on to well-aged and very, very smooth.

They all have that fire to them.

OK, without trying to foist alcohol choices on you, but you're travelling to the land of the finest whiskies in the world, so...

If you get the opportunity to try some single malt whiskies, you might be surprised at a) the variety of flavours; and b) the different levels of smoothness...

Out of curiosity, how recently have you tried whisky, and do you know whether it was meant to be a 'good' one?

Big Business are very large recipients of welfare, so they know what they're talking about when it comes to spending public money and not seeing a return.

They just lack self-awareness and/or shame.
