I’m so confused. Did Chappell Roan attack a child with tea or not? Like what is the dialogue here?

Weird. Had my morning devotional. And this time, when it all went down, I didn’t see god.

Must be eating right again.

My man took my breakfast lettuce from me and I’m now concerned that it’s a sign things might not make it in this relationship.

Furbies are going to be the new overlords. You all thought the matrix was something, wait till it’s half a foot tall giving orders and you can’t say no or you get shocked by it.

While I loathe AI, I’m beginning to see an opportunity for Furbies to make a comeback as truly intelligent monsters.

Holy hell though. I have never had a play through where I try harder to not get people killed and that gnome just ran into my aoe field….

I’m dying in this nutrition physiology class. Literally no one looks at the lecturer, and no one answers the open questions and I’m sick of hearing my voice for two hours straight as I answer the questions. But if I keep my mouth shut this class grinds to a crawl.

To the psycho who props the 3rd floor men’s bathroom door open in the lab building: my good morning devotional is not for the weak and I’m shutting that door to save your souls from what you could be hearing.

Whoever rolled a joint in the men’s room on the second floor of mcquade. You’re a mess, and it looks like you dropped more than you got into it….

I stg. Wasteful.

Kill me. I had to drive all the way to campus for a meeting and nothing else. I did this to myself. 9:00AM. I know better. I wanted to seem motivated but now that I’m on campus I want a triple espresso and an ibuprofen.

Hmmm. I must have not posted? For my few friends on here and numerous strangers, I have gotten into a Masters in Applied Chemistry program. It’s incredible how I doubted I could for years when I hopped out of college and struggled, and then bam, acceptance.

We need to discuss the main issue with public transit. Timeliness of the bus and timeliness of the people.

If you know you are about to get on the bus, have your goddamn Charlie card ready because if you stand there for a whole minute searching your whole bag for it, you are the problem.

This is just another reminder, Ukraine is still under attack, Russia wishes to waste time on false peace talks while they continue their advance, Israel is still attacking innocent civilians, and the world is too afraid or too weak to act.

Octopath!!! I remember it looked very similar to the old FFtactics games!

One of my favorite evaluations of people is from Carlo M. Cipolla. He effectively said anyone can be stupid and you won’t know it.It’s unfortunately quite true when you see PhDs in science who are anti vacc,or hardcore conservative. Even those who preach peace are willing to burn others at the stake

People are dying around the world, Israel is being enabled by the US, Ukraine is still under siege, Europe won’t just step in and actually be impactful, and we are suddenly concerned about some CEO cheating.

We are truly lost when we run to that as major news…

Fun note: don’t work in laboratory operations if you are contracted. And don’t work for companies that outsource operations.

Once again, I have people coming to my windowless office for someone who is not me. And then I end up being roped into helping them and having to make calls to ensure they submitted all the appropriate requests because I’m not allowed to see the clients request system…but said system governs my life

People here in the US don’t have common sense and think comparing apples to oranges justifies their behaviors. Critical thinking has failed us so badly. I truly think a majority of the US is so stuck on one note things we can’t correct anything in a meaningful way.

I would like to also add, we do nothing regarding guns and gun safety, where review and protocols are constantly being refined in the US to decrease this number in the medical field. You cannot compare two completely different issues on the basis of how many people died.

Well… again, I should clarify I am fully in the camp of gun control and believe doctors are doing all they can. But the Johns Hopkins statistics was purely on malpractice deaths. The problem with the data is that it’s estimated, which this meme sensationalizes.

While this is… unfortunately true based on a Johns Hopkins statistical analysis, it doesn’t change that the deaths from gun violence are unnecessarily high for something we are aware of. Between homocides, suicides, and accidental gun wounds, it’s still too high. And people can’t be trusted with it.
