I mean I got into the series with 3 like a lot of people, it just turns out that I think 2 suits my interests far better, as someone that wants an arcade racer and thinks the cinematic takedown cutaways are more of an annoyance
Also 2 introduced crash mode so it's still got that going for it too

everyone out here talking about Burnout 3 and Revenge
and I'm just the weird dog in the corner wanting more of 2, lemme have my Point of Impact
Ghostlop spotted!
happy birthday!! and i hope the pizza was good too, it looks tasty ~w~
Sending you all the good vibes I can, hoping it goes alright and helps you feel better after <3
KIRO 7 ran an article and two TV pieces on the theft of a box truck full of arcade PCBs, artwork, and machines from my workplace yesterday. If anyone in the Seattle area sees someone offloading a ton of CPS2/NAOMI/Neo Geo PCBs, stuff of that nature, please reach out.

It's probably not a good sign that the thing I want to do after playing Lumines Arise is ... play the original game instead, is it?
Journey is critically flawed by interrupting the flow of gameplay to change scenes, and multiplayer already appears to be too quiet for random matchmaking.
you're shelby! ,,,
Big mood, tbh
I like the rainy weather and I want more of it
It's not depression, dear; it's anger at a system that has so thoroughly failed you at every step of the way, and frustration that there isn't a way to help from a distance.
*None* of this is your fault, and you are not a burden to us. <3
No bonks, my sword's better
Not a new one at least; Raven didn't really account for lifts and moving platforms when allowing monsters and the player to cross over each other vertically. Basically the only reliable way out if you get embedded into a monster is to have a Chaos Device handy
And from asking around there is *still* no toggle to disable this behavior. Nightdive, please... just add a 35fps cap toggle.
I want to be excited for the stealth drop of Heretic+Hexen but once again they advertise a feature front and center that makes me literally unable to play the game.
I *cannot* play the idTech 1 games with an uncapped framerate. The resulting movement interpolation gives me nausea.
Looks to me like ModPlug/OpenMPT.
we used to be a country. a proper country.
Using Flash on the person you're playing against is cheating
Isn't making a Linux release literally just ... "replace the Windows executable with the Linux one"?
Like, I thought half the point of Löve was to abstract all of those kinds of concerns away so that you could focus entirely on the game itself
all gooberman did is launder the GPL off of boom so that microsoft could stick it in their doom port and use community work as marketing bullet points without having any pesky obligations to the people who kept the game alive for thirty years
sorry what
> the clean room re-implementation is code that will be available for the community to use[...], on any system possible, and without any baggage. And for this, we cannot thank GooberMan enough.
thank goodness. at last boom is free of the baggage of "share your code too". unbelievable
Oh that's interesting! It only specifically works for the peel-out though, the spindash is still too slow when you're underwater.
As for the other thing, that knowledge made it significantly easier to grab video of:
Fun fact: this one is exclusive to the Taxman ports of the games. In the original versions, peel-outs and spindashes can't start time traveling underwater on their own (you need extra speed from something else), and air bubbles instantly kill a time travel in progress when grabbed.
As long as you're not activating an item (sending an item effect overrides sending lines), and as long as it's a double or better, yeah.
That is generally correct but not completely. Puzzle Bobble also won't give you a color if you cannot reach it on the board; i.e., there's no path from a bubble of that color through empty spaces to the bottom of the board.
2P Vs mode in every game past the first eschews this rule, however.
They didn't want to tell you "we didn't think you would call us out on it", clearly
