How is the great Irish misogynist long Covid cover up going today Gav?

Still don't feel the need to mention the OECD report released last week no?

Or the HSE FADA report @micheal-martin.bsky.social said to wait for, confirming women are at far higher risk.

Prof Anne Scott closed the roundtable by evoking the words of Martin Cormican, the man who overrode the advice on HEPA filters, advised against masks for HCWs in March 2020, gloats he never used an antigen test, doesn't believe in long Covid, "we should choose kindness where we can"

Mike Ryan's word is treated as sancrosanct now that he's distancing himself from lockdowns and downplaying the significance of the WHO's initial denial of airborne transmission, but no one in Ireland listened to him when he said this:

They wanted him to run for president.

Unfortunately, Mairead McGuinness couldn't do it because of her unfortunate "post viral fatigue" as she explained to Brendan O'Connor who agrees with his favorite guest, Tegnell fan, Martin Cormican it was a terrible mistake we closed schools.

At our Anders Tegnell herd immunity love-in, @natpolicy.bsky.social did ask "some people are worried about long Covid. What is the risk from Covid today?"

The question was completely ignored and met with a load of waffle from Mike Ryan, the Irishman who lied to the world that Covid isn't airborne.

And Anders Tegnell was guest of honour at our evaluation roundtable where it was declared schools never should have closed which was reported as fact by @fergalbowers.bsky.social

When at the UK COVID inquiry they found Boris killed 23,000 people by not locking down when we did.

But not mentioned once on @news.rte.ie @virginmedianews.bsky.social or @newstalkfm.bsky.social

Or by a single politician or public health official.

Just like the HSE FADA report which confirmed all the international evidence that women are at far greater risk was never mentioned

How is the #GreatIrishLongCovidCoverUp going this morning?

The OECD report on long Covid costing the Irish economy €2B a year into the future not newsworthy no?

Just in Bloomberg, FT, IMT

Why don't you report on the OECD report on long Covid?

Bloomberg, the Financial Times, the Irish Times, Independent and Irish Medical Times did.

Why didn't you report on the HSE FADA report?

Don't you think women should be informed that they're at far higher risk? And the financial impact?

You said this was a witch hunt and we wouldn't want this kind of thing happening here. Zack Polanski talks about long Covid. The UK Green party have a comprehensive policy. You never mentioned it as Minister for Children, Equality, Disability.
We have an evaluation w/ Anders Tegnell guest of honour.

Gav, why are you ignoring the OECD report on the major ongoing economic impact of long Covid? Reported by Bloomberg, Financial Times, Independent, Irish Times, Irish Medical Times?

Based on a low-ball 1% figure. When the also ignored HSE FADA report said 16%.

Women 3x times the risk

Risks 📈

@emma-okelly.bsky.social

Oh for a second there I thought you were talking about the major OECD report on the ongoing massive impact of long Covid into the future, which itself is based on a delusionally optimistic model with a 1% steady rate. And doesn't take into account increasing risks 🤫😉😉

Hey, why haven't you covered the OECD report yet or the HSE FADA report. Cause they obliterate the mild/over narrative? You evil corrupt bastards

Terence Cosgrave, Editor Irish Medical Times

"If long COVID is to be handled properly, children with fatigue and cognitive problems cannot be passed around like a cursed raffle prize."

No? Still no mention of the OECD report on @rte.ie? @tommymeskill.bsky.social?

Is that why Roderic O'Gorman didn't want a "witch hunt" like the UK COVID inquiry. And never mentioned long Covid once as Minister for Children, Equality and Disability? While Zack Polanski talks about it, Irish Green party members will block you for raising the issue

You didn't see the OECD report no?

It's amazing that just a few unfortunate nurses from way back "during the pandemic" could cause this.

I didn't know they were paid that much.

Remarkable.

No mention on RTE

Do you not care about the economy Micheál?

This OECD report out today is based on an assumption of a steady 1% rate of long Covid.

A Swiss study recently said 60% of HCWs have long Covid.

HIQA said 53% of the population could be impacted.

The HSE FADA report confirms women at much higher risk

Will RTE cover this story on OECD report I wonder? They didn't cover the HSE FADA report or any other stories that make "living with Covid" look bad 🤫

This is based on a very hopeful 1% steady rate.
