My favorite Mario memory was the lead-up to Super Mario Bros. 3, which was the first time a videogame release felt like an event that I couldn't wait for. I was out of school with a cold and my Dad had rented it for me from the local video store. I was never the same after that afternoon.

It's called Aoede Hums, and I've been using it as my personal anthem for almost four years to celebrate my uniqueness and validity as a musician and as a human.
