Virginia judge blocks redistricting referendum from being certified A Virginia judge blocked the state from certifying the results of Tuesday's congressional map referendum.

A Virginia judge has voided yesterday's election results redrawing the state's congressional map. This is the third time that Republican-appointed Tazewell County Judge Jack Hurley has tried to stop the redistricting, and each previous time the Virginia Supreme Court overruled him.

A dense mossy forest interior at Federation Forest State Park in Washington, with tall evergreen trees rising through a carpet of green ferns, moss-covered logs, and soft forest undergrowth. Thick moss clings to branches and tree trunks throughout the scene, while filtered light from an overcast sky gives the woodland a muted, natural glow. The photo feels calm, quiet, and a little storybook-like.

While I was at Federation Forest State Park this week, this mossy stretch of forest caught my eye.

The moss-covered branches and deep green forest floor gave it a calm, almost storybook feel.

BENNET: Do you agree that 89% of children who died from flu were unvaccinated?

RFK Jr: I don't know the exact number

BENNET: That is the exact number, Secretary Kennedy

RFK Jr: *death growls*

BENNET: You took down the HHS communications promoting the flu vaccine. Do you regret that?

Washington is pretending to look busy with phony investigations—but don't let them distract you from the cover-up.

The Epstein files remain hidden, and Pam Bondi still hasn’t appeared for questioning.

No hearings. No deposition date. No answers.

In loss for Stephen Miller but win for voters, Arizona court rejects sweeping anti-voting challenge It’s the latest in a string of failed efforts by right-wingers to upend how elections are run in the battleground state.

NEW: In a win for Arizona, a state court rejected a right-wing lawsuit challenging election practices in several counties.

The ruling is the latest in a string of failed efforts to reshape election rules in the battleground state — and reflects a pattern of courts upholding pro-voting policies.

AOC is all sensible Americans right now, Americans who have completely lost patience with the wildly incompetent, lying loons currently running things who undermine our sanity, wealth, and wellbeing.

If Republicans hate the CA and VA redistricting, they can thank the person responsible - Donald J. Trump.

None of it would’ve been possible without his leadership on this issue.

The key to success here was that he identified and targeted the most gullible group of people on planet earth - American MAGA.

The icing on the cake in Trump/Abbott’s gerrymandering scheme will be when a couple of Republicans lose their elections in Texas in the midterms specifically because their districts were weakened by the dummymander.

Republicans, you got no one to blame but yourselves. Trump started this fight, he started this whole mid-decade redistricting bullshit. Democrats are simply fighting back. Cry harder Republicans.

Investigating the Good Guys DOJ claims the Southern Poverty Law Center was "paying off" the Ku Klux Klan. The group's track record and common sense suggest otherwise.

A little background on who the Southern Poverty Law Center is and what kind of work they’ve been doing for decades makes it clear that DOJ’s indictment (which is of the center, not of any individuals) is vindictive & malicious, an attack on civil rights work itself. open.substack.com/pub/joycevan...

Lot of people on the right crying about the Virginia redistricting vote.

We told you this would happen while you were celebrating the illegal off-cycle seat grab in Texas.

Stop playing stupid games if you don’t want to win stupid prizes.

In February 1777, General George Washington ordered the first mass immunization campaign in American history by mandating that his troops be inoculated against smallpox. He protected the Continental Army from an epidemic that was deadlier than British forces.

249 years later, we have this idiot.
