Why can't you stick to Grindr if you're too ugly for your own OnlyFriends account.

BlueSky - you've failed.

Giving up on this platform because of an increasing number of unwanted images of fat, hairy, naked men appearing on my feed every evening. I'm guessing it's when narcissistic bears in the US finally get online. Numerous attempts to say "show less of these" not having any effect. 1/2

Trump: US to double steel import tariffs to 50% President Donald Trump says the increase in tariffs will protect America's steel industry, along with an expected partnership with Japan.

A small point, all things considered, but raising a tariff from 25% to 50% isn't a "25%" increase as he says here. Someone needs to teach him basic maths (which in this instance would give him 100%). BBC News - Trump: US to double steel import tariffs to 50% - BBC News

‘Nothing left’: Irish whale-watching company closes amid ‘overfishing’ Sprat fishing has disrupted the food chain and diverted humpback, minke and fin whales as well as dolphins

Jesus wept. A depressing read. Factory fishing and over exploitation of the sea. "whale-watching company has abandoned tours off Ireland’s southern Atlantic coast and declared the waters an empty, lifeless sea."

Puffins are social, so to attract them to Maine's rocky islands, National Audubon's Seabird Restoration Program put out decoys to attract real birds.

This puffin is trying to fit in with his new friend by standing on one leg.

Unattractive overweight bald hairy man in a romper suit, desperately seeking attention

Unwanted photos of hairy overweight men like this are far too numerous on this site, and despite me clicking "show fewer posts like this" they still appear on my feed with monotonous regularity every evening. Stick to Grindr please and don't impose your vanity on me. BlueSky - sort your algorithms

I'd be asking them to knock at least £275k off the price so I could get it decorated by a professional rather than a coke-addled toddler!

My Great Uncle Arthur W Chamberlin, a Coporal in the Royal Engineers who died from his wounds on 8th July 1918, aged just 26. Buried in the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Acheux, near Amiens.

Time for Felon Musk to be taken to court for all the environmental pollution his space activities are causing - rather than spending time in the lab designing things that work, SpaceX seem to revel in trying to launch into space half-arsed objects made from tin foil, wax paper and string.

At what point does Felon Musk get charged with deliberately polluting the oceans with all his space junk? It's a massive environmental crime

Sad day today, saying goodbye to one of my late mum's cousins who died aged 95. But at the wake another cousin shared with me some family papers, including my Great Grandmother's passport issued in 1925 when she was 60, so she could travel to France to see her son's grave at Acheux, on the Somme.

Roman army camp found beyond Roman Empire’s northern frontier “What makes this find so remarkable is that the camp lies beyond the frontier of the Roman Empire,” says Saskia Stevens. That border was some 25 kilometres south.

I did some research out there from 2015 to 2019 - some great opportunities for community based tourism. Enjoy!

Beautiful place. Great to see that tourists are beginning to enjoy the scenery and wonderful hospitality of the Accursed Mountains

Sad to say goodbye to our hosts after a wonderful 10 days break in the DMV area. One of the highlights of the trip was finding the ixöq store in north-east D.C. - a great initiative selling baskets from Guatemala, woven by women artisans using recycled and upcycled materials.

Why at this time of the day is my feed suddenly filled with poor quality anime cartoons and semi-nude photos of overweight hairy men. No latter how often I press "show less like this" these unwanted intrusions appear. Keep your amateur art and soft porn to yourselves please

A lot of the things found at Pompeii and Ercolano have been removed for best protection to the National Archaeological Museum in Naples.

I cannot recommend a visit there highly enough. So many stunning things but the mosaics are right up there for me.

Feast your eyes on these beautiful artefacts
