What happened to the combined $63 million that Paramount, Meta, X, and ABC paid to the ‘Trump Presidential Library’ fund after surrendering? It just kinda disappeared. newrepublic.com/article/2092...

🔥 “I’m so glad people are finally waking up to your cruelty — and to the idiocy of your star disciple Pete Hegseth.”
@wajahatali.bsky.social eviscerates Hegseth’s pastor Doug Wilson (with @timmiller.bsky.social & piers in the front row)
Jim McGovern continues to go off:
"This farm bill is a disaster. It's awful. It's terrible. It's beyond words. It's a giveaway to Big Ag and chemical companies. There's actually liability protection in this bill for people who make pesticides. Like, who thinks like that?!"
Keep cooking, Jim!

Al Gore:
“This is the most corrupt administration not only in American history, but more corrupt than I could ever have imagined a president would be able to get away with to the extent that he has. It’s shocking to me.”
What a debacle.
JUST IN: Judge Amit Mehta (Obama/DC) opens door to deposition of Trump in #Jan6 civil lawsuits. Discovery against Trump on merits of cases could begin in May. Earlier: www.politico.com/news/2026/03...
@timnitgebru.blacksky.app already schooled us on this being the direct lineage of eugenicists.
Go with Xavier Becerra instead.
I liked Steyer for his environmental policies, and I think he has a decent shot.
But if it's integrity you're looking for, Becerra's your man. And I think he's got a good shot at it too.

Thank you :). Even if you don't like me personally, you can still read my books at your local library 🤣
If you watch and share one thing today make at this. Why is every democrat in the country not talking like this?
It is likely that Trump's Iran catastrophe will lead to some kind of compensation for all the countries the US has screwed (which is all of them). We would do well now to lay groundwork for seizing assets of the Palantirs and Musk fortune that enabled Trump's rise and invasion.
This is the kind of leadership America should have. I’m disgusted every day seeing the treasonous criminal filth that infests the US govt today.
Searing opinion from a federal judge on Long Island, who describes "police state"-like tactics by ICE to arrest peopleand draw up after-the-fact warrants.
He says DOJ is damaging its credibility with the courts by trying to shield ICE from scrutiny. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

I am in Barcelona today to help unite progressive parties from around the world in a defense of democracy and a war against corruption. A first of its kind event. Necessary to beat back the forces of fascism.
A series of women’s suffrage murals that took root in Chicago is expanding across the United States. Three murals that pay tribute to the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, have gone up in the Loop.
Josh Rogin: “Somebody shorted the oil market today by hundreds of millions of dollars exactly 20 minutes before Trump made his announcement—
If you see that once, it could be a coincidence. But that's happened at least three times, if not more, since the war began — that's a pattern”
Trump keeps confabulating things the Iranians have never said. Unlike most people, they have the guts to continually call him on it. They never promised to keep the strait open forever. They never said there'd be talks on Monday.
Leaving out that crucial fact allows the reader to miss the way this echoes prior authoritarian "investigate the investigator" moves as well as the fundamentally Orwellian character of this. (3/3)
Worth adding that Russia did as a matter of fact intervene for Trump in 2016 and that the evidence is widely known, abundant, and collected in various forms (🧵 1/3)

including a Senate investigation, the Mueller report, multiple intelligence investigations, multiple reportorial investigations in the US and elsewhere, and multiple books. (2/3)
"In the Trump era, he & the other conservative justices have repeatedly empowered the president through their shadow docket rulings. By contrast, the papers reveal a court wielding those same powers to block Mr. Obama..."
Grateful for your reporting here, @nytimes.com.
The graph I found most infuriating shows the SCOTUS double-standard, how they don't neutrally "call balls and strikes" but are in fact ideologically driven and are all in with the "unitary executive" theory if it's a GOP Pres but not when it's a Dem.
