As spring arrives the temptation to cut your grass & rid yourself of dandelions may be appealing. Don't. Dandelions are tbe first available food for your local bee population. If you want an abundant garden you need your growing partners to be fueled up & ready to do their part help. Let it grow
I talked with someone yesterday who is growing a garden and sharing with neighbors. Many of us could do that.
Crowned with freshly fallen snow, a crape myrtle’s silhouette catches the last dim light of day. Tinged with the seasonal hues of twilight, a blueish ethereal glow falls upon the surrounding snow, turning the scène into a poetic tableau of winter’s austère beauty.

Let dandelions grow: Bees, birds & butterflies need them. Dandelions provide an early food source for pollinators, aerate soil, & offer exceptional nutritional benefits for humans & pets.
Dandelion are rich in vitamins/minerals/antioxidants. The leaves & flowers can be consumed in salads/teas/wine.

And motivated to treasure nature's abundance, Sunny Joiette engages in a nature-friendly round of bowlidge.
Under a clear blue sky, an all-natural miniature bowling alley is set for a round of forest-friendly fun. A wood plank for a bowling alley. A walnut for bowling ball. And pinecones, arranged in a triangle, serve as bowling pins.
Bowlidging is right up my alley!
This fun autumnal activity, inspired by
Lorèarìum SavartDìor,
was a charming nature school lesson plan for my grandchildren.
And when we were through, a blue jay enjoyed the walnut, also known as a bowlidge ball.
