This was a one-day freebie back in the days when Google had a music store and companion music player app. Wasn’t expecting much (though the album cover did catch my eye), and it’s something I play fairly regularly. Solid blue-eyed soul and old-school country.

Recently discovered the Chalkpit Cassette Club and opted for a 3-month subscription to give it a try. First tape arrived within a week of subscribing (I joined on the 1st and was out of town last week for Spring Break), so I haven’t had a chance to listen yet, but the whole idea of it is just COOL.

Whoa. Weird. I’ve never seen the reel come out of the housing like that. I have some tapes that I need to crack open the cassette casing and try to fix; does yours have screws? Those are a LOT easier to repair.

If you have a No. 2 pencil, stick that bad boy into the left hand spool and carefully turn clockwise until the reel is safely back in the cassette.

Just realized it’s actually Tuesday, but I was driving pretty much all day yesterday after family vacation for Spring Break, so this is *technically* Monday for me. 🤷🏻‍♂️
