The update all of BlueSky has been waiting for: my embroidery project. I finished pattern two and have moved on to pattern three. The buttonhole wheel stitch has been renamed the “butthole wheel,” because that is pretty much how I feel about it.

The pattern shows back stitch for the lettering, but my aunt suggested outline/stem stitch for the third one, and I like that much better!

I finished my first embroidery pattern and started the second. The addition of my first-ever pair of reader glasses made the process so much easier. I put them on and my first words were, “Holy shit, I can see the eye of the needle!!”
