I do think, Greens have a different perspective, they think it’s an emergency but not enough of one, to do the fastest method. Which I think points to a hierarchy of importance: a desired political-economy > maximise housing.

I personally don’t care how the homes are created. Say Saudi’s/hedge funds build 2.5 million homes around London for market rent. Or a state owned house builder, and socialised land/property. In the end it’s about maximising number of homes built.

I’m not sure you understand what you’re arguing for. What is the Green Policy to build millions of new homes? How will they replenish the world’s oldest housing stock? and fix the “highest rates” of adults living with parents in generations ? The solutions for these pose Green specific problems

I can read haha. but this is a purposefully naïve analysis. If house building should be orders of magnitude higher, you need to look at the national factors systemically halting the other 80-99% of housebuilding (infrastructure) we need. Planning is the prime culprit for this.
