Anyway, magic is absolutely real and nobody can ever convince me otherwise, also, I’m so powerful and unstoppable now

✨ Accidentally went to the wrong car rental place to drop off the car but the universe had given me signs that it was all going to be okay (an art piece on IG saying “time is on your side”, 9999 on a license plate) and we made it to our gate with 30 mins to spare

(Now, mind you, this was the FIRST time I’d EVER been to the Houston location! This cashier had transferred to Houston from Santa Fe in August, so this was an entirely different state I saw her in 🤩🤩🤩)

✨ When we were checking out in the Meow Wolf gift shop I put my smiley-face ita backpack (made by @eggliencreations.bsky.social ) on the counter, the cashier asked if I’d ever been to the Santa Fe location because she RECOGNIZED ME from the last time I was there because of my backpack 🤩

✨ Realized my mom needed to take a sit break so I found the nearest bench to sit on, then looked up and realized that the mirror in front of us has ASL on it (spelling AWAY), which is amazing because my mom is Deaf

✨ On the trek back home I discovered I had extra time to take my mom to the Houston #MeowWolf for a short amount of time before we had to catch our flight, and she LOVED it, she’d never been to a Meow Wolf before 🤩

✨ Manifested shopping carts when I needed them, not once, but TWICE in the same day, and the second one was me showing off (this happens often when I neglect to grab a cart and then grab too many things to carry)

✨ Got to back my brother up during a meeting with his ex husband and I made the ex husband tremble because I was in my full power, there’s a reason I told him to do it on the day of the full moon 💅🏻

✨ Driving through Houston gave me the ick and the ETA to my destination kept jumping up and up and it was driving me up the wall but then all of a sudden like 45 mins just fell off the ETA at some point, and it even happened a second time during that trip

✨ I paid for a rental car for pick up in Houston through Hertz and when I went to pick up the car I found out that somehow I was a Gold member?? I don’t remember signing up for this. They let me have my pick of a small lineup of cars, with the keys all inside.

Magic is real and I’m gonna share some magical moments from the trip I’ve been on to see my brother this last week (a thread):

Literally same hat though because the last time I tried to have multiple partners I neglected my primary partner pretty badly—Decided I wanted an actually healthy relationship which required my time and attention and I haven’t dated anyone else in like three years, and it was the best decision

Bluesky doesn’t have that endless stream of useless content that my other social media apps do, and once more of my friends make it over here, I’ll be really glad to see posts from them and nothing else. This really is a breath of fresh air.

I highly recommend picking up journaling for helping to regulate your emotions on your own, but also because the next twenty years are going to bring so much change to our world and we need to document our personal growth as much as possible.
