I learned early on in my career never to ego search.

Binging right now. Losing it over "Don's Donger".
Recently met a friend's extended family, over from Oz. They were very amused when they found out my name. They were even more amused when I showed them some of the emails I've received over the years from confused residents of New South Wales.
I love Australian comedy shows so much. Which is almost worrying, given my unfortunate namesake.
There are so many hobbies that I'd convince myself I'd pursue. But in reality, the lack of focus means I'd sit in front of the TV procrastinating about what to do first, then wonder where the year had gone.
It's listed as "Team Yankee" by Galeforce Nine.
I learned from the comments that these are tokens for the "IDF faction" of a tabletop game. *All* the side-eye on you if you're playing that in your leisure time.

Hobby Workshop probably (hopefully) regretting using AI to auto-generate its Facebook ads.
i once threw up at a smashing pumpkins concert and billy corgan has yet to ask me if i’m feeling any better.
GoT also wasnt killed by fan service. You could argue the opposite, in fact.
Actually, it's not a very good thread after all. I just agree with the sentiment 😅
Mostly a very good thread. But Ted Lasso was never anything but a feelgood comedy with a lot of heart, and forgiveness at its core. I never before heard anything about fan service with that show, and consider it [pretty much] a perfect 3 seasons of TV.
The fabulously wealthy can't have anything as mundane as a Naughty Step.
Made y'all a video tour of this weird cave house, which some duchess had built for her kids.
A folly, a "house" of moss, and a weird limestone cave.
Creepy Georgian-styled nursery with 2 cribs + cluttered furniture.
A totally not-creepy nursery. I particularly like the crib carved with pentagrams to contain its evil spawn.
Large goat, being a fool.
This is Gary the Goat. He was described as "such a character", but in actual fact was a massive dickhead.
Tunnels under the castle. Stone walks. Spooky.
The tunnels under Belvoir Castle are called "the Dooms", and if they're not haunted I'll eat my hat.

Went to a[n actual lived-in] castle today. Saw how the other half lived. Met some animals. Had a good long walk and a nice lunch. Back home with a G&T. Perfect.

Gary Chalk's classic Cry Havoc smashed through its funding goal in just four hours... on to the stretch goals! Thank You everyone for the huge support!
We've been blown away by the response to our remaster of Gary Chalk's classic Cry Havoc. We smashed through our funding goal in just four hours, and now we're already at the last goal, turning the glorious single-sided battlefields into double-sided goodness.

Facebook post about a Reddit user finding an unpunished copy of the original Heroquest board game, referring to it as the "holy grail". Facebook AI suggests the question: "How rare is the Holy Grail?"
Just how rare *is* the Holy Grail, Meta?
strange these op-eds about women being too angry have all come out the last few days when during the same time there's also been a massive investigation published on an online rape academy with millions of viewers a month and none of them have bothered to even cover it, even as news
Yeah, I picked up the card pack at Salute. Will probably play that first as it's a lower entry point.
There is every possibility that I'll end up writing or modding my own rules, potentially for making a Last Vigilant tabletop game. But that is a project for Future Me.
As for rules, I'm building a large, mixed retinue for Ecorcheurs (I'll end up with about 26-30 minis, from which I can pick a standard force of 20). But I'm also looking to try Here's the Ruckus, for which I can just pick 12 of these for a warband.
A group of 28mm medieval wargaming miniatures in plastic and metal, arranged on a bookshelf.
Last week, I was asking for some advice on medieval wargaming. Thanks to you lot in the replies, I ended up going to Salute and spending too much Human Moneys. LOOK WHAT YOU MADE ME DO!
