Not the most exciting thing to post but I coded up a custom eyeLid solver node. Its very stable and handles deformation and shaping better then the traditional way I was doing it for years.

I make for me. When that touches other people, that is a joy; it’s wonderful; it’s a reason to celebrate. But I can’t let that be the driving reason I create. I create because it’s as natural as breathing, as listening, as seeing.

Make for you - and only because you want to.

I’ve long since accepted that some of the things I do will never be appreciated or even seen. But I decided that I needed to create because there are things in me that are desperate to get out - rage, pain, sorrow, joy, and even quiet peace.

We can be tops if we want. You can’t stop me

You could argue they’re effectively narrative maze games!

It is! That’s roleplay, baby.

It’s why so many visual novels are in 2nd person. Pretending to be someone else and adopting their nonsense is kind of fun!

Making bad games - and bad art, in general - is just a part of learning how to make good games/art.

Much like losing in a game is an opportunity for learning, the same applies here.

I try to remember that with each failure, and to remind myself I did the best I could with the circumstances I had.

Sometimes in game development you have to make shitty decisions and you make the best game you can but it was still bad

There is so much that is outside of your control, from the work other people do, mistakes made, and the amount of money the project has or doesn’t have
