My first GDC 2008 I attended in awe. 9 years later I made it onstage, when we won for Hyper Light Drifter! I’ve juried Narrative Award, was nominated for OFK…the IGFs are such a gravity well to me. Awards aren’t everything, but they can be weighty punctuation marks along our journey making games
