It worked for me, though! I quit Discord and restarted it, and I had the old sound back!

On my task bar, I was able to click the Discord icon and then "Quit Discord". Then I started it back up!

If you exit Discord (fully exit it) and restart, it seems to revert back to the old sound. Who knows why they did this.
