On Friday, 10 local governments met to end the intergovernmental solar power purchase agreement I catalyzed. After almost 7 years of painstaking work, it became a casualty of the MAGA war on clean energy.

‘Heartbroken.’ Forest in Ferguson Township cleared years after controversial plans The township’s tree preservation ordinance only applies at sites where there are active development plans or permit requests. There currently are no such plans on the Pine Hall Forest site.

This is an utter tragedy.

A developer & the landowner decided to fell 65 acres of forest with no warning to the township or residents. They did it because they could, not because they had to.
