Hyundai's EV/ICEV sales mix also returned (in March) to the levels they were at before the Trump admin sunsetted the EV tax credit.

Screenshot from a Semafor article that reads "Hyundai’s EV sales in the US increased by 40% from February to March, as fuel prices rose due to supply shortages, CEO José Muñoz said at a Semafor dinner Tuesday. The situation has highlighted the back-and-forth nature of EV demand that has plagued car companies in recent years. “One day, [dealers] call you and they say, ‘please stop producing EVs,’” he said. “The day after, they call you and say, ‘why [are you] not producing more?’”"
Holy moly, Hyundai saw a 40% rise in US EV sales from Feb to March spurred by increasing oil prices.

My neighbor told me his ICCU keeps failing so I asked how many ICCUs he has and he said he just goes to the dealer and gets a new ICCU afterwards so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding ICCUs to junkyards and then his daughter started crying.
Photo I took of the Arcimoto factory
Okay so I drove to their factory and the CEO told me in person that this isn't true.
In a lawsuit filed late last month in Lane County Circuit Court, the landlord, a Eugene family trust, says Arcimoto is behind $207,000 in rent and failed to pay up by a Jan. 31 deadline. The landlord wants “possession of the premises.” Arcimoto stopped making its snappy, three-wheel EVs several years ago. But it has continued to operate at the 34,000-square-foot factory it leases at 2034 W. 2nd Ave., repairing and servicing the vehicles for owners, and working on come-back plans.

oh dang, things continue to not look good for Arcimoto
Your inability to tell designs apart is a you problem.
(it ended up being fine, I charged it for 15min before leaving & while on my way there)
discovered my camera was at 6% 15 minutes before leaving for a photoshoot

You can't tell an Accord apart from an A5 without badging?
Photo of a Leapmotor B01
The scaling of details is mismatched & tiny, there's too much going on and they appear unserious. Even budget cars from their competitors (like this Leapmotor B01) look better because they show some restraint.
BYD Sealion 8
BYD's aesthetic problem is the result of being overstyled without a strong design character. That's why some overstyled designs look good and some don't, they need to carry a visual presence; most BYDs lack that.
Photo of a BYD Seal 07
BYD's EV tech is impressive but man.. most of their cars are kinda ugly
They're covered with cameras that would see the license plate so I would imagine the company filing a charge or something.
“Don’t even bother looksmaxxing” is good

The current moment in tech is loosely understood as software guys getting so evil they made hardware guys discover Marxism from first principles.

it's a food delivery robot for the college students living nearby
800,000 people who died because of the lack of lifesaving food and medical aid were unavailable for comment.
Car dealers are also a major source of money and power for state/local republican parties around the country so getting rid of them would have positive downstream effects beyond just making car buying less miserable
