Yes I think so. You get an unnatractive bag of donut rather than, like, another torus but the inside surface is now the outside

Topologically I think... Yes? Cut a slit anywhere on a tyre. Slide it to the top of the tyre. Open the slit up big and wide so the tyre is hanging from the opening like a stocking. Push everything through the opening. Shrink the hole back down to a slit and move it back to where you found it.

The "don't have an extra kid if you can't afford it" brigade get awfully upset when you suggest they don't stay in their £2m house if they can't afford it, don't they?

Strong move. This should be filed with The Goons and Round The Horne and The Burkiss Way and On The Hour in the 'All Time Greats' column. John Finnemore is one of the best writers of comedy of our time.

Old Movie Stars Dance to Uptown Funk
Old Movie Stars Dance to Uptown Funk YouTube video by Nerd Fest UK

If you have never seen this, you need it in your life.

If you have seen it, you need it again.

Especially now. You must have something, however small, that gives you joy. Every day.

This will do that. I guarantee.

"Mundane Halloween" returns!

It's that time of year again, when Japanese website
@dailyportalz holds its annual contest to dress up as something super ordinary.

Here's a thread of some of my favorites from the 2024 contest!

Thanks for the good piece, but you definitely need to edit to make clear that Starmer's chief of staff is Sue Gray, not Sue Hall the badly-defeated London mayoral candidate!

Err... back my Kickstarter please? It's a haunted house in space TTRPG about extradimensional ghosts, and it only has a few hours left. You could be my 100th backer!

It uses a deck of cards as a core mechanic, and the ghost player can only communicate with the others in limited ways starting with charades, and moving on to pictionary and whispering words. Full disclosure, it's written by a friend of mine and based on another friend's excellent visual novel.

Me, the Singularity - a #Zinequest TTRPG A haunted-house-in-space game about knowing yourself and others

If you're into tabletop RPGs, you should check out Me, the Singularity on Kickstarter. It's a TTRPG about being a crew on a doomed starbase being haunted by the ghost of one of them from an alternate reality, and it's really fun! www.kickstarter.com/projects/mic...
