power bill's due on the 23rd so the short term goal is $100 to keep the lights on. the IRS nearly overdrafted me for the full tax amount all at once, but 4 hours of phone calls fixed that... phew. so, ~70% is still the immediate safety goal, and the remainder is groceries and saving up for taxes.

There's a (fake) forced dilemma between continuing friendship or taking your chance at a romantic relationship, for some reason

One of the weirdest parts of non queer views on relationships to me is the notion that confessing your romantic interest to someone somehow means you can never be friends again if you are rejected

Like, why, what is stopping two people from talking it out and continuing to be friends if they want

I can't exactly say it without late game Animal Well spoilers, but the thing I had to do for a puzzle just now made me love this game even more somehow.
