Mycroft Nepo Baby Holmes is fittingly played by Max Irons, son of Jeremy Irons and Sinead Cusack, poorly concealing his fondness for his baby brother and his extreme handsomeness behind a moustache. (Invite me to your father’s Irish castle, Maxcroft. www.reddit.com/r/Fauxmoi/co...)

My critique partners often: what the hell is going on? Sarah: oh is it. Is it not painfully clear?

No shade to nepo babies, I would be one if I could retro-engineer it, I love Jamie Lee Curtis, but that is a hilarious name & I have a permit to make fun of British aristocrats known as ‘my Irish passport.’ Moriarty and Sherlock are dressed up as women escaping prison engaging in playful fisticuffs.

I’m not kidding about Main Character Nepo Baby Christmas Pudding (the actor rejoices in the name Hero Fiennes Tiffin).

That was my intent! I was like, listen this is a FREAK book, nobody will publish it and if they do, they won’t publish a sequel, so I gotta wrap this up satisfactorily! *dusts hands* yep job done, great work me. … I understand this is not how it struck the public.

I am watching #YoungSherlock & we all know what I am but if anyone expected me to root against Actually Irish Moriarty in favour of Main Character Nepo Baby Christmas Pudding… the only reason I tolerate him is Moriarty admired his beauty twice so I’m expecting Smallville style action. Sherlockville?

Question: are other writers good at guessing reader reaction? SARAH: writes a ‘bandage over story hole’ line for IN OTHER LANDS. READERS: everyone’s favourite line. SARAH: writes an elegant standalone ending for LONG LIVE EVIL. READERS: cliff hanger ending called out in the NEW YORK TIMES (twice!!)

Apparently there is now a Lost Boys musical. It becomes clear to me that I must go to New York to *checks notes* promote… my new novel. Yes. That’s reasonable. That’s a legitimate professional reason!

The moral dilemma of Sinners: two Michael B. Jordans on different sides! (Only moral answer: they wrestle it out.)

I also saw it! Another moral was that audiences are smarter than producers believe - they responded to the play being a trick by a) perceiving it was a trick and b) believing in good faith they were in on it. Also I enjoyed when a confetti cannon fired from the ceiling.

‘there would always be a fairy-tale as long as there was any Thor. When the fairy-tale ceased, there would be just thunder, which no human ear had yet heard’!
