Trying to convince myself that I am handling my life just fine while I continue to chew apart my bleeding fingertips

A bag of Colonel's Favorite Jelly Beans. The flavours are "fried chicken," "sweet corn," and "gravy." A truly atrocious novelty candy.
I tried these so you don't have to! They taste like a mix of durian, off-sour (like something kinda rotten), and what I can imagine I'd taste if I ate a spoonful of dust out of my vacuum. The taste lingers long after eating them. -67/10 would not recommend.
Another beautiful day on the internet

It's international beaver day today so here are some of my favs from last year
A few have suggested that some aspects of this mission--joy, international teamwork, diversity--are being played up to stick it to the hateful attitude of the administration. But I don't think it's that. I think it's just that those things are essential to and inseparable from a mission like this.
Earth being so annoying (too bright) that the Artemis crew has had to cover it up in the window with a t-shirt absolutely tracks.
This game is now the thread I am hanging on by
“clown event still possible” put that in your pocket, I can already tell you that this is the key phrase of 2026

I had to go to South Carolina this week and I went for a walk in the sun and I heard frogs singing and birds chirping and it was humid enough to make my hair poof and I loved every minute of that
Was spelling something out on the phone the other day and said "C as in uh.. capybara" and that works I suppose but maybe was a lot of syllables
Stuart McLean sits cross-legged on a dark green couch, hands clasped in front of him, wearing a black short-sleeve T-shirt, blue jeans, and dark socks. He faces the camera and is centered in the frame. Behind him, tall black bookshelves fill the wall from floor to ceiling, packed with books of many sizes and colors, with rows of CDs on the left. Two green throw pillows with light-colored designs rest on the couch, one on each side.
Stuart McLean was one of the most beloved storytellers and humorists in Canadian history.
Known as the Story-Telling Comic, his stories explored both humorous and serious themes.
His show, Vinyl Cafe, was acclaimed.
This is his story.

Never understood the whole "it's a rental put everything down the sinks and toilets because fuck landlords" mentally. You know who else is affected by a wastewater backup? ALL YOUR NEIGHBOURS
I always forget that the Dawnguard quests aren't part of the base game so I don't know if he totally counts, but Isran as a character is comically unfun and cold. Isran the cat just wants to party and snuggle 24/7. Polar opposites 😅

I love that I named the most unserious cat imaginable after the most serious character in Skyrim
