WOw, I was really moved by this one. It definitely deserves a rewatch. Here is my original review: www.ddmcd.com/movies/mass?...

This is one of the reasons I am immediately suspicious of ANY image-only post on Bluesky.
Does the Post still display "democracy dies in darkness" as its masthead slogan?
As an avid Linux (and Mac) user I have to agree. The transition and support costs will be significant.
As an avid Linux user I predict a significant increase in support costs. The question is, how will this effort impact overall productivity and total costs?
Compare this with recent redistricting vote in Virginia. Republicons spent tons of $$$ playing the "race card" claiming that black voters would be disenfranchised, despite Republicon gerrymandering in other states. Republicons will definitely use race as a wedge issue in the coming midterms.
I just finished writing my reflections on tonight's big win in Virginia. I've been fighting this fight for ten years, including three cases in SCOTUS. Tonight we won a big one at the ballot box.

Thank you. One never can tell what is real these days. This news sounded so astoundingly stupid, though...
Have you looked into the handwriting practice books for students? I had decent handwriting up to college/grad school but notetaking killed it. It's taken decades to get it back after a LOT of letterwriting and journaling. I find it easier now to use fountain pens after years of gel pen usage.
According to a ChatGPT Plus search, about 170,000 US troops are stationed overseas month to month. Adding support personnel raises the number to 220,000, with the largest concentrations in Japan and Germany. I wonder what the host countries think of this intentional weakening of US readiness?
Is there a source for this item? If it is true (I tend to be skeptical about unsourced claims like this on services like X and Bluesky) the only reason I can imagine for this is to deliberately reduce operational readiness.
TODAY: Virginia voters decide a referendum that would allow the redrawing of Congressional lines
It could swing four U.S. House seats in Virginia from red-to-blue next year
The “not all men” debate reminds me of the “not all Republicons are MAGAts” debate. I believe the latter statement is true but I still think that all Republicons must be swept from office.
Unless we hear otherwise, are not ALL Republicons complicit with the Mar-a-Lago Mafia?
SEN. @ossoff.senate.gov : “The faithless president depicts himself as Christ while he plunges the nation into wars of choice… Remember — While you pay more for everything, the First Family’s wealth is growing by billions. Because they’re crooks, and everybody knows it.”
VICTORY: VA’s disruptive voter removal practice ended The Commonwealth agreed to end the program following a lawsuit by a pro-voter coalition
“This rule was part of a national campaign to undermine the public’s trust in the election process. Federal law exists precisely to prevent this kind of last-minute, error-prone purging — and today's settlement affirms that those protections work,” said Anna Dorman, Counsel at Protect Democracy.
VICTORY: The Commonwealth of Virginia agreed to stop its illegal voter purge program that impacted naturalized citizens on the eve of federal elections — a major victory for voters after SCOTUS permitted this potential disenfranchisement ahead of the '24 presidential election. protdem.org/41FQsj5
Countries that consider the US "reliable" are fast becoming a vanishingly small minority. As Putin intended.
Make it make sense.
Waste of space
This upper stage failure is a reminder of the challenges we face in making space travel safe and reliable. That's not being negative, that's just reality.
You win!
Should I also be “defensive” because I never heard of this “rape academy” thing you are referring to?

A storm is coming for the Republicans
There is no such thing as "the average taxpayer."
I would have more respect for anti-AI arguments if they showed an indication of understanding and using AI.
I admire your strategic view but as long as Republicons are in charge the interests of the American people will continue to take a back seat to lies, graft, and ignorance.
NEW EPISODE: Republicans are waging an all-out war on voting rights in court – and we keep beating them!
In this episode, I am joined by Democracy Docket's Legal Content Editor Ashley Cleaves to break down all of the recent wins for the pro-democracy movement. www.youtube.com/watch?v=s84q...
