I think my box only had 3 crayons and they were all shades of grey. Color Brewer is great for getting a printable, color blind safe palette that may not be exciting but is durable and usable.
Huge shout out to ColorBrewer2 which has been my go-to resource for color schemes for visual displays of information for like... maybe 13 years. The rest of you should be thanking them too, because left to my own devices... designs things get bad.
