Municipal elections can't come soon enough.

Irredeemably crooked.
No. No they did not. Nor did they consult with the community centres, the community centre association, nor the the people who actually use the facilities or live near them.
They are also exploring "partnerships" for aforementioned proposed community centre renewals. Sim appears to be holding a city asset fire sale while he still can.
I wonder if there's some Landmark Forum 2day seminar on maximizing public assets for personal gain or something. (only half joking, tbh)
I will definitely do so. Even cool people need assurances every now and then.
Pairs nicely with the Community Centre Association not being consulted about the proposed community centre renewal that was just announced the other day (and which also did not take into account the auditor general report from last year).
Assuming the schools, community centre, public library and preschool/daycare/after school care on the same property will not be affected in any way. And of course community use of the rink and adjacent pool will not be affected either.../s
My husband has a pair for every room, plus 1 on string around his neck. They keep getting caught on the dogs when he hugs them & are a total slobber/crumb magnet. He keeps telling me he used to be cool & I keep reassuring him he still is, though a bit more near sighted. It's cool to be able to see!
My kid described it as lowering the revs in the agitation/stress engine. They took a super low dose for a year and the break from the hypomania was enough to reset and wean themselves off. Just knowing lithium was an option if they needed it was enough after that. I wish you well with the lithium!
Oh boy, that's tough!
It's so hard when one of the biggest ways to explore your world is to taste it and the humans go "EW GROSS, no, leave it, I said leave it!!" but you really really need to know what that thing smells/tastes like. That's how our girl got giardia a couple months ago-tasty mud.
Previously enjoyed cow/horse feed is great for gardens, but not for dog tummies. Especially if your mum catches you at it and then you maybe have to get dewormed "just in case".
Finley, have you ever tried boysenberries? My older dog has the entire neighbourhood mapped out for fruit and knows where all the backyard boysenberry bushes hang over fences.
I have the devil of a time stopping my 2 dogs from sampling that smelly dirt/manure when it's freshly laid down- because it's also tasty too! And springtime is when it gets delivered in great big piles in people's driveways for garden projects in our 'hood, so morning walks are REALLY interesting.
would be a shame if somebody mapped this onto average home price over the same time period oh noooooo oh well, social housing is communism, so onward and upward
Having secure housing focused on families- multi bedrooms, outdoor space, etc, meant stability and opportunity to improve living situation, get car loans, save money, improve diet, and so on. Kids can settle into schools and learn instead of being constantly in survival mode.
Grew up in social housing as the child of a single mum who absolutely would not have been able to support her family otherwise. My memories of housing before moving into social, then co-ops were of a string of grim unsafe places paired with precarious food situation & changing schools multiple times
The author framing anything not filtered through a smart phone as an "inconvenience" sure is something!
My feed appears to be fine, but I can't see any comments on any posts and if I go to a profile, I can't see their posts.
OUTRAGE. Just absolutely furious that we would not leave the door wide open on a subzero day. He. Has. Needs.
*he's actually a really lovely cat who is a kind and patient puppy big brother who will allow himself to get slobbered and mumbled by young dogs without breaking out the claws.
Look at Darby in her bare scuddy! Zero shame, as it should be.
A black and white fluffy tuxedo cat with white eye feelers and whiskers sitting with his ears back and glaring through a glass door from outside. It looks damp and wintry and the colour of the sunlight indicates it is late in the day.
Here's my lad giving excellent airplane ears.
Lest you think he is mistreated in any way- he demanded to be let out, immediately turned and glared through the door. When we opened it to let him in, he refused. He just wanted us to implement the Summer Patio Open Door Policy and we failed to oblige.
If our local community nextdoor/fb groups are any indication, a locking gas cap is a great idea. Multiple reports in the last couple weeks of "Anyone else suddenly lose an entire tank of gas while parked overnight?"
Flabbering!! Honestly, a better and more descriptive name for it!
Irresistible, right? I could not contain myself with my setter's little speckled belly once and I don't think he's ever forgiven me for giving him a zerbert.

A photo of a pile of cellophane wrapped cream and brown striped hard candies.
This is what I'd imagine Humbug candies were inspired by.
Pizza Bones are always a hit!
I've seen a few folk posit the same. From the daily turnout over the last few weeks, I don't think Orban would find it easy to deny the results, though I wouldn't be surprised at a violent response.
Vance is such a ridiculous figure who lacks any sort of credibility, but a threat to HU democracy
They certainly do! However, it IS quite nice to see hopeful news about the Hungarian elections in that feed, despite having nothing to do with Scottish Independence.
