Contactless payments have dramatically changed children's early experiences of money.
So what can we do about it? Here are some ideas for teaching money well in #EYFS that I wrote for @TeachEarlyYrs. Let me know what you think!

Love this. Spot on!
Just wondering if there's already a feed / community of Curriculum for Wales/EWC educators out in the big blue sky? Can't seem to find anything specific. #EduSkyCymru perhaps? #EduSky

Interesting. Do you think there is a high level of ideological consensus in Wales?
Thoughts pls re: teaching telling the time…I teach - hour hand only; minute hand - nearest 5 then 1 min; digital; 24hr - and finally - the ‘language’ of telling the time (to/past, quarter, half etc) I believe ‘language’ is taught last in the Far East. Any experiences of this in the UK?
Thoughts please maths teachers…teaching transformations in KS3…one at a time or all 4 at same time? My colleague thinks all at the same time but I think translations and reflections follow on from ks2, so teach in early ks3. Then rotations and enlargements later in ks3.
Online supermarket shopping. Delivery can be as low as £2. You only buy what you need. Saves time and schlepping around a wet supermarket car park yourself.
Regional variation where I am…I was speaking to someone who runs the PGCE course at a Welsh Uni recently and they (Welsh gov I think) restrict the number of students they can enrol because there are very few teaching vacancies in the local area. I know quite a few teachers looking for jobs here.
