Thanks. Sad to hear that.

Seems to be the case but can’t see it anywhere reputable, only Daily Express
I like these a lot. Very possibly my next car.
I’d also like to nominate black Hyundais for having paint that seems to mark if you look at it too hard.
I’d really like a reason to own a Mazda 6, such good looking cars, red ones especially.
What were you doing 30 years ago today?
I bought a Renault 11.
That’s genuinely awful. I hate what seems to be happening to this country and hope that, at some point, common sense will prevail.
Local Cars and Coffee this morning. One guy only goes and blows everything else away by turning up in an Alfa 90.
Whilst I accept that more learners will take their tests in autos and that the number of manuals are in decline, the quotes from the instructor in this article appear to be what you’d probably call ‘absolute bollocks’ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
I’m thinking about Retromobile. I wanted to go to Reims salon in March and can’t do both though…
I really need an excuse to go to Paris to see this. And probably spend a small fortune in the shop too..
Work this morning involved spending three hours sat at the side of a road, making sure people on a fundraising walk didn’t get run over. It was not a bad was to start the day, truth be told.
Astonishingly, yes.
EU should have standardised on yellow headlights, like the French used to have.
It really is! Tesco had quite a few Alfas, I’ll pop back over the weekend see if they have any more left. Tesco seemed to be doing a HW promo, big promo stand with a lot of stock on the aisle end. Don’t know if it’s national but worth checking?
Nothing to see here. Oh, these. Don’t know how they got there.
Final selection of cars spotted on the Autobahn. MX-5 was indecently quick, passed us at 100+ and vanished into the distance.
I’ve decided I need another Twingo, late Initiale like that would be perfect.
It’s about 8km north of Bad Herrenalb in Germany, about 30k south of Karlsruhe. And you really should go.
A few more, it’s basically the sort of place we’d all end up with if we had the time and money.
Found what might possibly be the best car museum you never knew existed this afternoon…
Few more from today, Twingo the most attainable, Beetle looked pretty good. So many 911s and Mk1 Cabrios around these parts today.
Sunday Deutsch scenes.
The rise of American-style pick up trucks on British roads is ridiculous. Most owners aren't ranchers living in the wilderness, they live on a crowded suburban housing estate, and all their neighbours think they are twats.
In the end, I decided €4500 is too much, given it would be £5500 by the time it was UK legal. And that’s probably too much.
In so far as both the Ibiza and Malaga were based on the Ritmo / Ronda I think?
I think it was more of an evolution of the SEAT Ritmo / Ronda although that might apply to the Ibiza too. Either way, fairly sure they were essentially an Ibiza saloon.
30 degrees. Frankfurt. Autobahn.
Having the under tray attempt to exit the chat at quite* high speed wasn’t expected. Managed to repair it with cable ties so all good.
I’ve got the Renault 4 kit sat in my wardrobe, unbuilt for the exact same reasons.
More from Deutschland. SEAT Cordoba strangely appealing.
