And here it is — reco.to V2 is live 🎉

In short: no more dead links — your links now work for you.
👉 It’s open. Would love your feedback!

A short brisk walk to get some fresh air and think 💪🥰
Deployment of customization in progress. Users can now choose from 5 themes for their profile. 🥳
Soon, they will be able to fully customize the elements of their profile #buildinpublic
No, it’s a joke. But it has already happened to me to have that many (unused, of course…). Now I’m getting better—I turn the idea into a note in Notion with domain names I’ve found. I still waste time, but less money! 😆
The 121st this month 😅
🤣
The story of my life 🤣 #dev #sideproject #buildinpublic
“Just a quick theme customizer for reco.to. Should be easy.”
Three nights later, I’m still stuck in this front-end hell 😫
Front-end devs, what’s your secret to staying sane? Any magic trick to speed this up?
Awesome work 💪👏
I’m in motion, with new perspectives.
This year’s challenge: turn social networks into a positive force.
Even though:
- I don’t like speaking up.
- I prefer being alone.
- I think it’s all bullshit.
Let’s try.
And you? What’s your 2025 challenge? #buildinpublic
⁉️What if what you thought was “bad” was just a bias holding you back?
Two years ago, I decided that if I don’t test, I don’t know.
So I tried what I used to avoid: automation, asking questions, communities…
The result? I learned to step out of my comfort zone.
And now?
🚀 New week, new chance to crush it… or procrastinate by scrolling.
If you have a project, an idea, or a challenge this week, drop it in the comments. Let’s motivate each other (or cry in silence, your call).
Let’s go! 💪
😂😅
For me: full dev, empty sales (as usual 😅)
I just found my WHY for Reco.to! After a morning of reflection on direction, feature prioritization, and marketing actions, everything is clear. From now on, every decision will serve this WHY #buildinpublic
A good day today. Full-on rush mode. New homepage, OG and SEO tags, lots of small bug fixes, started theme customization (should be done tomorrow). Feels great to sprint after a busy week with no chance to move forward.
And you, making good progress on your side projects? #buildinpublic
Thanks for your feedback, that’s this afternoon’s project! (og & seo)
Hehe 😛. I’m waiting a bit longer to create several profiles with my close ones and the companies I work with before displaying them on the homepage.
I’m starting to build a minimalist alternative to Linktree from scratch.
Come give it a try!

I updated the home page, is it better?
Yes. I’m mainly working on the app’s backend right now. But next week, it’ll be the part I like less: homepage, example accounts for inspiration, etc. Thanks for your feedback! Feel free to create an account and give it a try.
Side project is live! 🚀 If you want to beta test and share your feedback, I’d be happy to offer you a free subscription 😊 URL 👉 reco.to #buildinpublic
Side project is live this morning 🎉 I’m looking for people interested in beta testing! Let’s chat in DM. #buildinpublic
Solo with my two kids this week. Start: 6 AM. Get them ready, dressed, fed, motivated (or negotiated).
Work ends at 6 PM. Bath, homework, dinner, bedtime…
First part of the day done: 8:40PM.
Energy left for the second one ? 5% 😅😂
Strength to all solo parents & indie hackers 💪 #buildinpublic
Shutting down the laptop for the week. Made some progress on my side project in the evenings, but finding long stretches of focus was tough. No big deal—some weeks are smooth, some aren't. From 17 to 35 commits, GitHub cleaned up, mind too. 🚀 #buildinpublic
Yes. I’m fully enjoying learning new things while coding this project. I don’t think I’ll make any money from it (as usual 😂). But if it can be useful to some people, then that’s fine with me.
