Missing the days when music production tools were more unique and original. Even those previously cool DAW feature upgrades seem to be increasingly boring standard fare. I wish there was more creative effort in developing original tools that break new sonic ground.

I mean it’s great that every developer has a voltage accurate emulation of the vintage minimoog or LA-2A units. When you can already dial in that retro sound or create just about any forward thinking unique synth sound in Serum what’s the point in being invested in growing your plugin collection?
