It's been a couple years but I mostly remember some fun daydreams and hints for the Daybreak games. I also remember it being pretty lengthy so I'd say only if you're up for it

Speaking as a (biased) localizer, this is legit one of the beautiful things about loc when it's done later, rather than simultaneously. You have time to figure out stuff like, "Oh, every chest has a separate 'it's closed' message rather than a universal one" and can tune your work accordingly.

OH I remembered a small fun thing I liked, seeing Amalie and Nelly travel together!

If there's not a scene in Horizon 2 where they go to the capital and get spotted by Sister Philia then what's even the point?

I might add to this later with more stuff I liked, but in the end I liked this game, but I didn't love it. I'm excited for Horizon 2, and I think I'll end up liking that one a lot more.

I loved Rean's route so much. Every time Altina smiled my heart melted and she smiles a LOT :)

I've really struggled to find out why I felt this way for this game but no other Trails games. I'm really glad I liked the finale cause I was super worried I would just not be interested in the next game with how I was feeling leading up to it.

BUT it wasn't all negative, I still liked a lot!

I think once it became clear that the game would end with the launch and nobody would reveal anything until then it really dragged for me. Plus the Garten stuff had some very annoying boss fights which made things worse.

Alright, so here's the arc I went through while playing this game

1st half: enjoying it about as much as I've enjoyed the Daybreak games (which is a lot)
2nd half before finale: about as negative as I've felt on a Trails game
Finale: back up to enjoying it lol

My "I've become useful at work and it's ruining my life" is I can't take any time off this week for new Trails :(

On Trails into Reverie, I personally handled much of the dialogue for the main dungeon. The game lets you form parties out of over 50 characters across the series, each with dozens of unique combat and exploration barks. If I can make do without ChatGPT, so can Netflix writers making 100x my pay lol
