I just boil them.
An absolutely beautiful and huge artichoke (with my hand for scale) resting on my grandmother's black and white enamel-topped table. I've gone arty and made everything black and white, except for the 'choke, which is still green.
Look at this enormous beauty! Can't wait to cook it. π

πππ This has made my morning.
π² No!! Scary! So glad you're on the mend.
What a great article! And written by a 10th grader - impressive. (I'm sure she writes and reasons so well because she studies Latin. π)
Me and Bill Hope doing a selfie in studio. Needless to say, we're both sporting reading glasses on top of our heads.
One of the joys of working with an old friend for the first time in ages is swearing on your lives that neither of you has aged a bit - while both wearing reading glasses as permanent headbands. π

My POV inside the dead room in a recording studio. Through the window at a distance, at another mic, is the actor I'm doing the scene with.
I'm in the naughty corner...
So sorry. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

A row of Crayola crayons with an arrow pointing to the yellow orange one. The text reads 'this one'.
This one. I feel bad now that I neglected it. π
A picture taken inside a loo cubicle. Half is the wall, which is a very warm grey - almost taupe. The other half is a door, which a bright yellow-orange.
Inside a loo in a government building recently, I was quite taken with this colour combo. I get fonder and fonder of this shade of orange (which is weird, as it was the crayon I always avoided using when I was a kid).

If you need a healthy dose of sanity in these insane times, BBC Radio 4 Extra are repeating our Marx Brothers re-creations βFlywheel, Shyster & Flywheelβ. I believe you can listen live from anywhere on the planet but can only stream them on catch up in the UK.

Woman in a room absolutely filled with candy of all kinds.
Wait. Tell me more about this candy vestibule...
That's a beaut! π
Rosalind Russell and Cary Grant in the fulm His Girl Friday. They're in a news office, both frantically on the phone.
If they aren't portrayed like this, I ain't buyin' it.
π
Thanks for the plug! π
OMG πππ
The camera looks up at ornate green and white cornicing on a mid-rise brick building in New York. Behind the building is a brilliant blue sky.
Love this detail on a New York building... π½π

I saw this in a cinema when I was 18 or 19 and it changed EVERYTHING for me as regards film.
