If you’ve ever watched the high scoring comebacks of D2 football you know that Trinidad Chambliss was completely prepped for this 4th quarter comeback (and amazing 2nd half in general)!

My grandparents (from eastern Kentucky originally) said, “younz”
quite often. (Same meaning as you all/you guys/y’all)

This is a film worth seeing! So good! A little of everything in it that makes it full of substance: action, suspense, romance, humor, adorable animals, good vs evil, life lessons, and good music!

Loved it! It had all the things in it: Drama, suspense, romance, humor, life lessons, good vs evil, adorable animals, and good music! Thank you for creating a masterful film!

Sharing for anyone else who believes in science. I remember interviewing my Grandfather for a college assignment. He was born in 1909. When I interviewed him he told how prior to vaccines so many people would die.

Simply converting paper tasks to digital does NOT increase student engagement

This popped up in my FB memories from 8 yrs ago.It made me think about how we, as educators, have to evolve with the times to engage students. The world changes, but often what happens in classrooms remains stagnant. This activity isn’t even relevant anymore. But my kids loved it at the time! #edchat

Watching with my family! My youngest was going crazy over Hendry and Orton. He’s a huge Hendry fan!

Currently my desire to be well informed is at odds with my desire to remain sane. Anyone else out there feeling this?

As someone who enjoys being right, I’ve never wanted to be so wrong. I hope I’m very wrong and that many folks will be able to say to me, “I told you so,” when this is over.

If we want students who are thinkers and problem solvers we need to give them meaningful assignments in school. Recreating a renaissance art piece in World History class is not going to help a student understand more about history. It’s busy work.

So apparently the act of sending loved ones little videos and cute pictures and funny things throughout the day is called "Pebbling" because there's a species of penguin that likes to leave pebbles in their partners' nests to show they care, and this is my happy thing for today

Interesting read. I have a hs freshman who did this because of being on an advanced track, and my kid wants nothing to do with math or a math related career…. He used to love math. My other child we pulled from the advanced track and he is loving normal middle school math.

We pay too much attention to the most confident voices—and too little attention to the most thoughtful ones.

Conviction is not a sign of credibility. Speaking assertively is not a substitute for reflecting deeply.

It's better to learn from complex thinkers than smooth talkers.

One kid in my household would welcome the extended break. The other wants to play in his basketball game tomorrow to hopefully avenge a previous overtime loss. One will be happy tomorrow and another disappointed (verdict’s out to see who will be who). We are in the warning area/snow belt. 🤣❄️

Just watched the Untold Story of Mary Poppins. Great show! Is anyone else crying after watching the video at the end with the final verse to “It’s a Small World,” that was just given to Disney by Richard Sherman? 😭 #disney #itsasmallworld #marypoppins

When you know things are getting interesting at the middle school: When you hear me say, “Well, THAT wasn’t on my bingo card today!” You can’t make this stuff up 🤣 #iykyk
