Have you ever watched the documentary Spirit of the Marathon? It’s really heartwarming and shows many different paths to finishing a marathon

Intentionally scheduling this task so that it would be completed right before my therapy appointment was the right move

Thank you! It feels like a really big win 😌

Today I did something that I’ve been putting off for months. It was both physically and emotionally hard, but I did it.

Now time for some much-needed self care.

Sovereignty for Some: Racism, Immigration and the Global Tax Order - Truthdig How an obscure 20th-century tax rule ensured that newly decolonized nations would never fully escape the orbit of their colonizers.

Such a pleasure to team up with my #BULaw colleague @sshermanstokes.bsky.social Sherman-Stokes to tell this important story of race, immigration, and tax law.

"The idea that billionaires should pay higher tax rates than working people is not radical. What is radical is allowing a system where [...] those billionaires can in effect opt out of contributing to the society that made their success possible."

My district is LOUD about reversing its push for screens, but it’s also LOUD about embracing AI.

It’s almost like we didn’t learn anything #EduSky #EdTech

It is not inevitable that AI tools be infused throughout K-12.

I left Threads. IME, it was a lot more conservative and I saw a lot more right wing posts that got a lot of love. I saw some posts from my friends on occasion, but its very heavily algorithm-based feed meant I just saw a lot more garbage and highly controversial posts

Kennedy is a eugenicist.
His words and choices to date provide ample evidence of his deep hatred for disabled ‘weaker’ people. All his ‘policy’ is driven by one goal: make the population ‘fitter’ by ‘weeding out the unfit.’
Speak of him as the open, rank eugenicist he is.

I think what’s drawing so many people to Artemis II isn’t just the science. It’s the beauty, the poetry, the art, the interconnectedness.

Humanities matter.

Reading thousands of articles about literacy in the NYT makes me feel even more strongly that talking and complaining about literacy is a way for the elite to ignore poverty and violence

That’s what I assumed, but AI didn’t give me that same answer so I couldn’t check. Ugh. I’m so sorry this happened and hopefully the journal rectifies it since the author doesn’t seem to be helping

You might not look at your screen but others do. I recently test drove a car and didn’t buy it because climate control was two menus deep when it should just be a physical button/knob I can access without looking.
