Last night I dreamed that I was invited to go to Canada for "steaks and sushi" and I had to get clarification on the timing because it might conflict with plans I had for prime rib with horseradish. I never got clarification.
I'm not sure if it is related, but yesterday was shot day. ❤️

Also, no new migraines. Just the two a while back.
While the cluster (2 in 2 days) is odd and concerning, the average per month is still currently lower than before E.
I've been on this journey for over 2 months and I couldn't be happier.
I started waaay late (I'm over 50), so I moderated my hopes, but #estrogen has been a miracle. I literally look 5 years younger already. I SEE, SMELL and TASTE the world differently.
I LIKE to DANCE (still do it poorly though).
:) I'll keep an eye out.
Hi.
Is there a way to order signed hardcover copies of your books?
I really enjoyed Magica Riot and Polybius (and then found out about a totally 80s urban legend). I've only read about a quarter of Full Bloom, but it's shaping up to be just as amazing. I'd love to have signed copies of all 3.
❤️
6th dose today and it went great, proper amount, no pain, no blood, quick and as if I actually know what I was doing.
I had a couple migraines earlier this week. They were both mild, and even before e I'd get one 1-2 a month, but two days in a row is rare for me.
Mixed signals, I need more data. 🤔
Also, still no migraines. ❤️
Today I tried to draw with my 25g injection needle and somehow it just didn't draw any medication (yeah, it was weird).
Then I tried to over-draw with the 18g by .05ml, switch to the 25g, and then push out the air and - voilà - the syringe was exactly at my proper dose.
Yay! I can do it right.
I did my 5th shot today and I think I'm finally figuring out how this works.
I was struggling with air in the needle/syringe tip when switching from my draw needle to my injection needle. If I drew to my dosage then changed needles, when I pushed out the new air bubble I wouldn't have a full dose.
There's a lot to unpack with the 2nd one... Am I just looking for changes? Could I really have been disassociating (and subconsciously not fully acknowledging my body) for the last 35+ years? What's really going on?
Also, still no migraines. :D
I've been on estrogen for almost 4 weeks now and I'm noticing some more changes.
1st, I went for a run and my nipples HURT. I knew this one was coming but it still came as a surprise.
2nd, I have much better "body awareness" than I used too... I know what dir my feet are pointing without looking.
Oh, also, still no migraines.
I've been on estrogen for just over two weeks (took my 3rd shot yesterday) and I have noticed the first physical effects.
I may be a weird edge case, given my age and vision situation, but I cannot remember ever being able to see this well, even with a brand new lens Rx.
I didn't see that coming.
Earlier this evening I did my second injection, this time with the proper size syringe so getting the right dose was much easier.
So far no migraines. I know one week isn't long enough to be useful information, but I'm calling it a positive sign.
If you see a bridge post a bridge.
I'm currently soaking in a bathtub by rose scented candlelight wondering if it is normal to be counting the days until Thursday. ♥️
I understand now that I have come out as trans, it is my solemn duty to chose the color of heart emoji that I will exclusively and faithfully use from here on out.
My choice is...
♥️
I chose this one for two reasons. I am a fan of simplicity and it must work well in both dark and light mode.
I am in this post and I'd like to buy a framed copy of this poster.

Dearest Martha,
I write from the front lines of war-torn Portland. Today I fought bravely through a hostile farmers market, narrowly surviving a volley of kombucha bottles. Supplies of pour-over coffee and oat milk run low. Clouds of artisanal incense fill the sky, the drum circles beat incessantly

So... a bit over 24 hours after my first shot and I do feel different, but it's hard to put words to the difference.
I don't know if it's a direct effect of E, or if it's in my head as a result of crossing this bridge (and setting the demo charges so I can blow it now that I'm on the other side). 🧨
Thanks.
I appreciate it. It is a scary time to start this.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I'm glad to hear that e hasn't made your migraines worse. Both for you and for my prospects of going to a higher dose relatively soon.
