Yes, 2 years of virtually no pay and pension, worked part time, needed an operation to β€˜fix’ me etc. I am equally grumpy about the lack of equality for women.

Woke up still grumpy about this 🀣 equality for women is still MIA, but instead of focussing on men stepping up or society providing tangible, solid, comprehensive support for childrearing, women are still being expected to sacrifice their bodies, careers, time, money, and resource to have babies.

I wonder how much our GDP will improve when we're not sending billions every year to the fossil fuel industries killing our planet.

Just picture every kilometer travelled on fossil fuel having a tax on it, going straight overseas, zero benefit to us.

Let's free ourselves.

Oil supply is restricted.
Oil is expensive and dirty.
Wars are fought to control oil.

Sunlight is limitless.
Sunlight is free and clean.
No wars are fought over sunlight.

Let’s go solar!

If only evidence was followed/applied. Unbelievablely frustrating.

Why should any political donations other than a standard annual party membership fee (say Β£25) be permitted?
All other options allow wealthy people disproportionate political influence.

It cannot be repeated enough that we need to rapidly decarbonise our economy, particularly transport. This has benefits for climate change as well as energy resilience. Policy support for more buses, trains, ferries; protected cycleways; safe walking; e-bikes; e-cars; e-trucks.

The Side Eye: The Table Why is New Zealand's wealth hoarded at one end of the nation's dinner table? Toby Morris of @TheSpinoffTV explains

Luxon has a plan. It looks like this. 6 plates for him, 1 plate between 5 at the other end of the divide he’s widened. I don’t misunderstand him. I see him. #nzpol #hoarder interactives.stuff.co.nz/the-side-eye...
