My argument about Farage has been consistent if nothing else, look at Reform (a word used by Hitler more than once by the way with regard to politics) then research what the people associated with the Nazis - even before they became Nazis - did in Germany in the 20s and 30s - It is exactly the same!

Going to finally give up hockey design when the UK's NIHL National season ends. Today is the 1st of the final 3 games. Too much AI, all graft for free. Thank you. To be honest, not many people read my stuff so it's no big loss - I do it because I love writing, I paint because I love painting, none of it is popular or gains an audience, but the main thing for me is I do it and get that creative 'thing' out of me. I can't explain why but I have to!

We are buying a flat; it is taking the usual UK 4 months to process. We are living in a temporary place so I can't paint at all. I started writing, it worked, but I think the limbo, the stress, I lost a stone in weight, has killed it. One of the stories I'm not confident about my idea as I was too 🙄
I'm writing two apocolyptic tales set in the near future - but how I like to see the stories told - but unfortunately like some of the people in the stories they seem to have died at the moment - I have no inspiration or drive to carry on writing either....odd really.

Absolutely - but my thinking was it is showing how horrifying the event would be and then loads of people survive - which they wouldn't, so for me it was confusing but I do understand why it was done - as you said.

On 'Threads' before I left it I was complaining about people nicking people's art - I paint a lot, it's not very good - but artists struggle, work hard, have emotional stress to paint, whether you like it or not. I was called a 'Paint Pig', so I created this logo for a group I was going to start....
I created this logo to go on the ice hockey stuff I do for a FB group and I agree with this concept too - I'm sick of people showing me AI created stuff online saying 'Isn't this great' or 'fun' or 'interesting' - never did when a human did that work...a lot of UK ice hockey clubs are using it too 😒

We moved 600 miles back down south just to be near some longtime friends.
Not many years left and best to be around people who have liked you your whole life.
If it ever gets resolved favourable for Ukraine I genuinely believe them and the West should build a massive 'Berlin Wall' style wall but call it the European Wall or something.
It doesn't stop anything in this day and age but it sure would be a symbol.
To be honest I could see the future of Earth in the Star Wars films - not even outer space travelling or anything - it definitely looked like Earth about 100 years after I wasn't around anymore - I think I might have got that timescale wrong too.
