And in iOS news: our 1.11 updates to @RevenueCat.com were mostly bugfixes, but we also added a ton of new custom alert sounds. People seem to be enjoying them! 🔔 😻 Here’s some of our favorites. 🔊

As soon as we learned this was being built by the creators of Dark Sky, it was like 💡 ahh no wonder this is such an elegant blend of data and design.

the RevenueCat iOS app is one of the things we’ve worked on in the last year that i’m proudest of. it’s a really nice app, made by people who really care at @lickability.com and you can feel that when you use it.
Our friend Sam wrote something nostalgic, relatable, and frankly beautiful about the new MacBook Neo. If you only have time to read one thing today, let it be this essay.

Everyone’s got a good idea of what Apple will probably announce on Monday, but it got me thinking about how adorable old iPhone concepts and “leaks” used to be 😭
We got to thinking about what people want out of apps in the landscape of 2026, where everything tries to be an “everything app” and scope has more potential than ever to spiral out of control. 😵

We’ll try to stay cautiously-optimistic, but we know how this has worked out for everyone who’s tried it before… 😓

This article by Robert Hart for The Verge really sums up the exciting potential frameworks like these have, and their inability to fully deliver (yet). Absolutely something worth keeping an eye on as this technology gets further refined, though! 😝

This is a fun idea in theory (we love bespoke software!), but the scope is a too wide and the end results are too much of a novelty to earn the “software that adapts to you” description. “Tailor-made vibe-coded widgets” maybe? 👌

“I’d love for someone to check me on that though, as I don’t know to what extent Xcode’s behaviors can now be controlled through MCP from these tools, because that could be enough to warrant using the 1st party integration for many tasks.” —Liberatore, Lickability Staff Engineer
“On the UI surrounding the models and agents (Codex, Cowork, etc.): I don’t have faith Apple will keep up with features as quickly as these companies release them.”
“I personally like the separation and un-integration from before, only because it implies continued access to bleeding-edge features as they release by companies that are aggressively competing in this space.”
