I genuinely worry that should AI gain sentience and the means to destroy us, the billionaire class wouldn't pull the plug, because of the "impact on shareholder value".
Super high gold prices are a problem. The world does not need Bitcoin, but gold has industrial applications that make it necessary and make high prices a problem for everybody.
Trumpers: A secret unelected cabal is running the planet.
Also Trumpers: Let's appoint an unelected "Board of Peace" to run the planet.
The expectation of soldiers is that they will not commit individual acts that are crimes or outside of their ROE. The broader context of legal justification for ops is another matter. Acts of conscience are different, and you wouldn't know if any soldier had objected on that basis. Some may have.
I congratulate Venezuela on their upcoming large oil-revenue-based sovereign wealth fund that can fully support socialised health care, child care, higher education and a universal basic income throughout the country as the product of sound financial and political administration.
It's not that simple for people in the service. Soldiers should not be expected to be lawyers. Play the ball, not the players. Trying to shame service people is the same as complaining about billionaire's trying to convince people earning $100 an hour that people earning $10 an hour are the problem.
I congratulate Venezuela on their large upcoming oil-revenue-based sovereign wealth fund that they can deploy to fully support socialised health care, child care, higher education and a universal basic income throughout the country as the product of sound financial and political administration.

TLDR; "I never thought the leopards would eat my face".
I raise you this....
I don't see how "as soon as possible" can't be implemented with a few water-filled barriers in about 15 minutes time.
You are doing a brilliant job on the post-race interviews and 'pit walk'. ๐
It's worse than that. There is already a significant knowledge deficit in many workplaces, partially driven through people who have become overly reliant on AI resulting in documentation that in no way reflects practices implemented in workplaces, it's super detailed but massively generic.
Put another way, should anybody ever be sentenced to life in prison for killing somebody while riding a bike, I guarantee that the primary charge would have nothing whatsoever to do with the bike. Unless they'd painted it with Novichok, chainsaws and razorblades, it would be incidental to the facts.
Honestly, It's a non-issue. Were any cyclist (hypothetically) ever sentenced to life in prison for causing death through cycling alone, the case would never stand at appeal when the comparison between equivalent sentencing of drivers in similar circumstances. The whole thing is performative.
However the judge may have tried to characterize it as "not a victory of one over another", that is exactly what was seen on the courthouse steps. If he hoped this would be understood as a technical point of law and not a victory for moral or political perspectives, that was extraordinarily naive.
....no, thank Yeezus.
Why bother giving 9/11 firefighters healthcare support? Providing veterans with mental health support? We don't owe them anything right? Everybody should just fend for themselves regardless of the circumstances of their service? Take your righteous anger elsewhere JP. Real world resident here ๐.
Just because he doesn't owe us anything, doesn't mean we don't owe him something.
Did you use ChatGPT for this?
- I will establish a clear policy not to use ChatGPT to write policy.
- The policy will be regularly and thoroughly audited by an audit team I don't employ.
- All personnel will be thoroughly trained in the policy by a training system I don't possess.
He's a retired president, emphasis on retired. A retired CEO doesn't CEO, a teacher doesn't teach or garbage person doesn't collect garbage. While we might not like it, he doesn't actually owe anybody anything.
FFS - Remember everybody loves a good acronym.
Americans who aren't really up on Australian politics (basically all of you), don't go rushing to make Jacqui Lambie your figurehead. Your enemy's enemy is not automatically your friend.
'You've really got a job to get the car to slow down". OMFG.

Many countries have outlawed the use, including in some cases even showing, of "Nazi salutes", because they were (and still are) salutes given by Nazi's.
If you give something oxygen, you help it breathe.
Don't. We're all out.
He's a politician, not an appointed investor.
Let's stop being hyperbolic, it would not be appropriate for him to speak to the controllers. There are protocols that it is important to follow to ensure the integrity of the investigation.
