Front cover of Ronnie Spectors autobiography with a quote from The Sunday Times calling the book entertaining and gossipy
“We’ve got a quote here from Rolling Stone about it being one of the greatest rock memoirs of all time. Shall we put it on the cover?”
“No, let’s use the one about it being gossipy”
Being able to play from Bandcamp on here is a pretty good idea

I don’t know what’s going on in Melbourne but I’ve discovered three bands this week and each time I looked up where they were from it was Melbourne
Also you mentioned the 168 songs book at the end. That’s probably my favourite Manics related release in ages!
The story James told about Being Baptised being about the show he did with Allen Toussaint gives its bit more merit imo.
I’m not sure I’ll forgive you for putting that piano version of Critical Thinking into my ears.
A book on The Chris Gethard Show would need a giant epilogue to even scratch the surface of its impact

My little press @beardedbadgerbooks.bsky.social had around 6k followers on Twitter… but like many I couldn’t be doing with the Musk version of it and deleted my account.
I’d love you to give us a follow as we try to build it back up in preparation for giving this whole publishing thing another go!

Great great stuff from @npadamsee.bsky.social
Not long after I quit drinking I went to see Doug Stanhope and he had this joke about sober people saying “I don’t have to drink to have fun” and him replying “yeah but you have to go have fun to have fun”. Sobriety stuck luckily, but I still think about that a lot.
