i have changed my "internet name" multiple times over the years, i have tried to blend in multiple places. but my gayness is intrinsic to me, one of my firmest touchstones to my reality.

i have unfortunately encountered some serious homophobia recently in spaces i thought were safe (not here!) it has brought me down a little, i won't lie. but being gay is a huge part of my personal story.

it has helped me with my personal bigender identity (I do no consider myself trans, fyi, Spicy Cis? idk) and i am grateful for all the support 💞

as a butch-in-my-heart lesbian (i present femme for employment purposes) i have learned so much of the intersection of lesbians and trans men/mascs over the years (and not just the dudes in the butch lesbian to trans masc pipeline!)

please do not think all cis lesbians are opps. we aren't! some of us are huge assholes, yes, but that's the same in any community... trans-inclusive cis lesbians do exist, we do!

i have been a lesbian (officially, out to myself and others) since around 2000, though i was definitely fighting it between 1996 and 1999! it has been a complex journey and it is a bit fraught lately but it is one of the only things i am sure of my identity.
