i went skiing today- i brought my cousin and his partner with. ( they don’t know how to ski or snowboard)
i turn around for one second and their snow boards are flying down the hill 🙃🤣

a lot of people in my life rn is showing me this by talking about their own experiences with parents doing things for you just to later on hold it against you. learning to accept help, love or support is hard when you’re use to “owing” them later.

today, my partner’s parents did something that my own parents don’t really do for me. made me feel really special for my birthday coming up.
i’m learning to love my birthday again and i’m so very grateful for the beautiful people in my life that love me. unlearning that love isn’t transactional

without my clients i wouldn’t have been able to have the privilege to ski or be able to be here on my own. i got kick out at 18, i was living in my partners dorm room and now im here… bc of everyone who gets a tattoo from me. 🥲

my hyper fixation is skiing atm,
i just got my freestyle skis, getting them mounted atm and then i’ll drop the full set up. do not clown me im gonna try my best to be good at it :)

for the past 2 weeks at least 1-2 of my clients i have in a day will tell me im ethel cain core or that im so similar to her. i’ve never heard of her or have seen what she looks like and so i just looked her up and i see what they mean. im fr just midwest emo hunting cor3 ahahha

I’ve noticed that bc i changed my stroke to a 4.5. I can’t stipple shade without causing more trauma or tearing bc it hits too hard. so i have a Mast machine with adjustable stroke from a 2.0-4.2 which i’m gonna try switching when shading for a tattoo. let’s see how this goes!

also i’ve been using this new machine!
it’s the brother of the machine that i’ve been using for the pass year or so. the Ambition Solider, I’ve been using the Ambition Solider 270 with a 4.5 stroke. I had a 4 stroke in and the 4.5. hits a harder punch. line work has felt a lot more smooth with it!

your work is incredible! what kind of technique do you use to create works like this?

it’s gonna hurt when haters gonna hate idk im human im not cut out for people looking at my shit locally like i’m Chappell Roan! aGh it’s hard to be loved or accepted it.
anyway i love you all thank you for letting me do what i do and love my work even though im not perfect. but try to be!

being a Tattoo Artist is hard because your hard on yourself for every little line, dot, love and sweat. letting that shaky line go is hard it’s there forever- you dwell on it for weeks-months. it’s your work it runs deep down from your soul. ofc it hurts, it’s makes ur soul hurt.
