Peri is not happy with @gamerdrinker.bsky.social forcing him into a pale ale🤣. He has however been waiting patiently for the Necessary Evil impy stout and you can see his excitement whilst Oberon and mozzarella look on in embarrassment 🥰🍻

The Jaipur was superb- best I’ve tasted for a while.

Now settled in at the Wild Swan which is as good as hoped, really love the decor too. We’re especially pleased to see Coco Wonderland on cask alongside all the other great beer. However, we all know which beer Peri is looking forward to don’t we?….😂

Stop 2, we were on the way to The Wild Swan but found ourselves passing The Seven Stars, Carey St. Would have been rude to not pop into this institution 🍻💗

First stop today was Open Gate Guinness Brewey which was a nice space and a couple decent beers, including a Rye Pale, a Irish Tea Amber and a Dark Lager. I would come back here

Last official stop is Ten Bells, another new London Beer Factory pub. I really like the decor here! Beer is as expected as is the clientele for the area!

Stop 4 is The Peacock, Stepney. It’s friendly and an ok place where beer selection is decent, including a house lager brewed by Lacons. Worth a look if you are nearby!

Stop 3 is Mother Kelly’s E2 where Orbit Tzaziki Sour and Stardust Zorro West are the standouts. A can of imperial stout from Polly’s x Azvex to finish with more cans to take home.

Stop 2 is Empire Tavern, a new East London Brewing Co venue. Happy to see Jamboree on cask as haven’t had for ages. A Couple of new beers from ELB on keg too. The bar is well designed which translates into a lovely ambience.

After two days stuck indoors with a cold, it’s nice to be out in the sunshine today. First stop is Cock Tavern where the cask selection is pretty good and with very reasonable pricing. Loving that they have three cask lagers on at the same time 😊.

Enjoying the beers at Siren’s 13th birthday. @gamerdrinker.bsky.social isn’t impressed that Peri is being his usual self by showing interest in the Pomona Island ‘All Calls Diverted To Answer Phone’, a coconut, chocolate and tonka stout 😂🍻

It’s been a fun few days. Starting with Wandsworth Common beer fest on Wednesday, then a great celebration of women in booze history @thedodomicropub.bsky.social on Thursday, followed by Friday afternoon drinks in the Nags and Castle, Reading, before Siren’s 13th birthday tomorrow My poor liver 😂💗🍻

After a food stop we are now in The Bear, Paddington where there is a very interesting (and quite tasty) Gose on keg

Unfortunately it had gone by the time we were ready to have it but I did get the last of it for free 🤪

Stop 4 is Br3wery Furzedown, a bit out of the way and beers are ok, inc a WC IPA and a Choc oatmeal stout.
Beers are decent enough but not sure it’s worth the effort to get here if you aren’t local.

Looking forward to this new (to me) Petrus beer. Peri is interested too of course!🍻

Stop 3 is Craft 2 Tooting. Drinking one of the best lagers - Tegernseer Hell, and Augustus Gloop - a toffee choc porter from Baron which is 4.8, quite tasty and served at a good temperature!

Stop 2 is Craft Tooting. Started on 2 draft beers but alas both are lhazy - taste ok though. The highlight is a bottle of Schlenkerla Doppelbock and bumping into @duckchickencider.bsky.social

Oh shame to not have seen you. We are now in the Craft Tooting.

After a delicious breakfast our first stop is We Brought Beer in Tooting Broadway where the Westie WC IPA from Wimbledon brewery is outstanding. The 5 beers on tap are all pretty good.

Very sad to see that Nicholas Brendon has passed away at just 54. Xander was a great character in Buffy 🖤

I’ve booked Ribs ‘n’ beer for my birthday meal in May - can’t wait.
