A gross mushy feeling thrilled through Katsuki’s stomach and the words ‘You're so fucking embarrassing’ were loaded into his throat to continue the banter… but what came out was:

“You’re so fucking beautiful…”

Deku leaned into the touch, eyes closing, giggling and nodding like a little shit as he nuzzled the barrel of a Howitzer cannon.

Katsuki let out an irritated huff. “You think you’re so slick now, huh?” His hand un-retracted to dig into the damp forest and roughly rub the other boy’s head, stealthily fulfilling his need to touch the locks.

“That’s great, Kacchan! You’ve always needed to work on your stealth...” Chapped lips formed into an annoying competitive smirk.

Katsuki looked away, ignoring the heat he felt on his cheeks. “Tch… If I were a villain, you’d be dead right now… don’t let your damn guard down, nerd.”

The words ‘You’re fucking beautiful’ sat on the tip of Katsuki’s tongue and he had to bite it to prevent them from escaping.

“Kacchan…?” 

The hand retracted before the green mop tipped back and emerald eyes were looking up at him. “What’re you doing back there?”
