So I'm hearing the Ford has called a last minute late night sitting of the legislature to ram through his FOI changes.

What's the point of an investigation? With the FOI changes, will investigators even have anything to investigate?

I'll never forget the time I was visiting friends and family in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the mid-90s and they took all sorts of bottles and cans for return in their grocery stores, way more and way better than what we do here.

Maybe one of the other parties will pick up the cause.

As an addendum, regardless of what I think about communism overall, based on what I know about her upbringing, I don't fault her for her activism.

Ford's whining about how much he is scrutinized reminded me of that. Despite his scaremongering about China, he would rather be treated like a political leader from China than a leader in a healthy democracy.

She once remarked that she thought it was weird that we were critical of political leaders, because in her mind, that was the same as being against your country.

For me, it was the opposite. Being raised in a liberal democracy, because I am for my country, I am critical of our political leaders.

Turns out they actually lost rating points, as I suspected. So the reason they rose in the ranks is because the formerly 9th place team lost a whole lot more points.

I was surprised to see that #CanWNT rose a tiny bit in the FIFA rankings, because I didn't think they've done that well recently. They've only had losses against their peers. Their wins came against weaker teams. There was a draw vs a team they should have beaten.
