Yesterday we visited the newest Executive Member, @HomeServeUK , at their #Nottingham Training Academy. The BPEC-approved centre now offers #heatpump training. It is fantastic to see the sector scaling up and see the enthusiasm from the training team.

🌱 Removing Environmental and Social Obligation levies makes a #heatpump £50/year cheaper than a gas boiler. Our Domestic Heat Pump Tariff Discount proposes a strategy to reduce this cost and accelerate UK heat pump targets. Read more ➡️ bit.ly/47Q9FPD

On Tuesday HPA CEO, Charlotte Lee, visited @KeepmoatHomes ‘zero carbon ready development in Gedling. It was really interesting to see how the house specifications faired through initial modelling in the new Home Energy Model (HEM).

The UK now has 250,000 heat pumps installed:

🔧 30,000 so far this year
⬆️ A 45% increase on the same time last year

The number of trained installers is up too:

👷‍♀️ 4,875 trained so far this year
⬆️ A 14% increase on the same time last year
